I hurried through the crowd. I had just recieved a message that I was urgently needed at infirmary. Apparently they were short on doctors, and there had just been a major construction accident, wounding many workers. I shoved my way through everyone, recieving many rude gestures and glares. This wasn't the first time something like this had happened, infact it had almost become a monthly occurence for me. Apparently, the construction tools we had been recieving in the past couple of months were very badly made. It seems that the Capitol must have some major project going on, and the best tools were being sent to them.

As a hurried through the crowd, it began to rain. Great, what else could happen today? As if someone or something heard my question, I saw a foot stick out of the crowd infront of me, and it was impossible to stop in time. The next thing I knew, I was falling towards the ground, and then I blacked out.

It was always to Phoebe's disliking when and construction accident--major or minor--occurred. She'd always try her best to keep down the memories of Icarus, her older brother, who met his death at one of his jobs several years ago, courtesy of a power saw.

However--no matter how the past threatened to resurface--natural curiosity did not allow her to see any of the accidents big enough to draw a crowd. Most of her crews were this way, and her foreman would permit people to go see.

"Lucky" hammer stuck back in her waist pouch, she shoved her way through the curious people that were flocking to the site where a crane had malfunctioned and a roofing truss swung through the air, knocking men and other trusses over, squishing some, injuring others in different ways. Not pleasant.

In the confusion, Phoebe felt a definite tug on her boot, and looked over to see that she'd tripped a poor fellow who was now lying on the ground, head in the dirt.

Cod awoke, and then it all came back to him. He had been tripped, on someone's shoes, yes, that was it, on his way to the...oh no...the infirmary! He got back on his feet, and a sudden felt a pain in his leg. It must have gotten injured when he fell. He leaned on a tree, taking his weight off of his leg. He tried to get someones attention, but people were to busy looking up as the scene unfolded infront of them, more people being injured at the construction site.

"My leg, I need the tools and some help to treat it, and I need to help treat the victims of the construction accident," Cod replied to the stranger, " Can you help me get to the infirmary?" He asked the stranger.Maybe they could help him support himself on one leg, until he could get help.

[/size] Phoebe didn't doubt that she could carry him--she was strong and he was smaller than her--she just thought it might be a bit awkward. She already felt a bit embarrassed about calling him "sir," as he was apparently no older than her. [/color][/blockquote]

"No, no, I think I can support my other leg," Cod replied to the stranger,"By the way, what is your name?" Cod hadn't thought to ask this question until now, he had been so focused with trying to get to the infirmary.

[/size] She moved to help him support his weight. She wasn't really expecting to do something on such a day, but she did help to deal with injuries on sites sometimes. Usually, it was just moving the person to the infirmary or stopping their bleeding. Nothing too drastic.[/color][/blockquote]
