So, before we go into the life and times of our little subject named Luther here, let's establish some little tidbits of information about him first. An ice breaker, if you will. Let's just say that he was different, and he was never looking for a normal way to solve things or pick the obvious choice. He was always "out of the box", and was smarter than your average Narwhal. Sort of like a mix between Warhol and John F. Kennedy. If he wanted to change something, he changed something small until it started a chain reaction and ended up changing more than one thing.

In relation to the ramble ramble paragraph up there, I'll tell you that not only was he carrying a bushel of apples, he had them on his head. Not only were they on his head, but there was a dandy piece of rope that made the basket of apples almost immovable to his head. So, as he walked, humming some tune about flowers and knives, he not only tripped over a little bitty root, but he face planted and ended up with a mouth full of wormy dirt and an ocean of dirty apples.

After rolling over and sitting up, the basket commenced to sliding over his face and catching on his nose and pushing it down so he resembled something called a Pug. Of course it was invisible, with a big ole' khaki basket covering his face, but who cares, he could feel the hilarity that had just ensued and he burst out laughing. With the basket over his face and all. Oh what a fool he was! Even after he was finished, he still felt the need to make himself look even stupider, so he had a little play with his hands. The right one symbolized himself and the left one was everything else. So, after swooping the basket off of his head, he did something sorta like this:

• squinting his eyes as he did an imitation of what sounds he made as he fell
  
• making the 'pfft pfft' sounds as he tried to spit out the dirt
  
• laughing at the pug face that the basket had made in little 'aharhar' sounds
  

Of course, he ended up just giggling more than he did before because of the cheesy sound effects. He ended up crying actually, and made the airy little 'oh' sounds that some people do after something hysterical. And, yes, he also wiped his eyes with the back of his thumbs.

To say the least, he wasn't exactly doing what was supposed to be done. He was supposed to be going to the processing place, where you drop off everything that you harvested and let the people that work there sort it out and get it ready to be shipped out to all the other districts.

It really wasn't a big surprise though, he never really did what he was supposed to do in the first place. At least not in the way it should be done. Yeah, sure, he liked to goof off and get in trouble and stuff, but he always ended up doing the right thing, just in a different way.

He spoke up to all the apples around him. "Oh, lordy, I'm so sorry apples! I went a little bananas. Ha! Get it? I used a fruit to... uh.. yeah. Er.. Sorry apples! I just.. got all loopy and ended up droppin' ya all over this dirty ground! I'll be sure to help ya' back up and get ya' to the people in no time! Just hang tight and.. I'll get ya' there! Because," Giggle. "I will!"

He's just so silly.

Oh my lord! And you know what's even sillier? He picked up a freaking apple and threw it at this one chick. Wuddafuh?
