Leveling out at about 6'7'', Soren is on the taller side for his age. It was inherited from his Dad's side who were all very tall. He is a normal weight for his height, averaging around 180 lbs. A lot of it would be muscle and not fat because food is rare in Soren's family.

Rough from far, Soren's skin is colored with a light tan. It wraps tightly around his bones and muscles, and not hanging loosely. However, it's not tight enough to show stretch marks. The muscles he has are generally bigger than normal, a result of his many hours he spends in the mines. They are larger in his biceps, and legs, and also in his abdomen.

Rigid and squared, Soren's face looks like it would belong to a really tough guy. His face isn't rounded very much, and it's flat. His cheekbones aren't very prominent, instead being further set back. His forehead is slightly larger, only adding more of that tough look to the rest of his head. His hair is colored a lighter brown, and is almost always sticking up. It looks rough, and generally is rough to the touch.

Grey is the color of Soren's semi-circle shaped eyes. They are strong with seeing, which is definately a good skill to have at your disposal while working in the mines. Bushy eyebrows form a line over Soren's eyes, giving him a sort of angry look. His eye socket is set back further, allowing a darker shadow to cover them, giving a kind of sinister look. Purple bruises lie right below his eyes and are even darker with the shadow.

His nose is really the only thing he has that's more rounded. His nose is thicker, and longer, matching with the rest of his face nicely. It's flat at the end, not pointed out. His nostrils are well hidden, because of their angle, however, they are large. His ears stick out from his head more than normal and are actually quite large and slightly deformed. His lips are thin and tightly pressed together, hiding his off white colored teeth.

His neck is thick with muscle and splits out into his shoulders with just as much muscle. Both his neck and shoulders are rigid too, like he was chiseled from stone. His arms are the same, rigid and muscular, ending in large hands covered in rough skin. The fingers are the same, extending out, covered with calluses and rough nails. His legs are just like his arms, ending in rough feet though, with a rough base. He has a high arch, and large toes, good for getting good grips with his bare feet.

They are often wrapped in normal cotton or wool socks, and then covered with leather boots or running shoes. His pants are usually made of denim, and fit tigher against his body. His shirts are usually normal t-shirts or button up dress shirts, with the sleeves rolled up. He has one jacket, a thick cotton one that ends below his knees. Accessories aren't common for Soren, so you only will probably ever see him with a chain necklace around his neck.

Being quiet is natural for Soren. It's not that he is ignored by people, but rather that he ignores them. It wasn't always like that. He was the popular kid while growing up. But one moment, which will be described more in History, changed that. He'd be considered an extrovert. He chooses to be less social and to not go out of his way to be that way. He prefers to be by himself and decide on each decision he makes by himself.

However, he doesn't act like that with everybody. Sometimes, he opens up, and lets people in. It's only happened with his family, a few friends and is extremely rare. He is friendly and charismatic though, when the time comes around. He is actually very caring too, and protective. No matter what, if he sees injustice, he'd probably stand up for the person, using his size to his advantage.

He isn't a shy person though, just because he isn't very social. He's actually a very good leader, and is good with commanding people. If there had to be something done, he'd be able to make some people care, and actually want to do something. It works hand in hand with being very analytical, giving him a way to make sure he knows each and every approach to everything. He does it alot in the mines, and becomes very thorough with things, making sure it's done 110%.

The drugs from an accident recovery did more than heal him. They did the opposite. The dark voice accompanies him, filling him with lots of hatred and anger, trying to insist that he's just trying to help him. The voice is sinister and evil to say the least. But it's one with him now.

Trina Marlene grew up in the merchant part of the district, helping run her family Apothecary shop. Her life was nothing special until she met Dylan Ryder, a regular miner. The two fell in love and married, giving birth to Terra Ryder, Rockie Ryder and Salem Ryder. The first two children followed in the footsteps of their parent by gender, immediately falling in love with each of their jobs.

Growing up, Salem was never the favourite child of the family. He was kind of the black sheep, the outcast, the unwanted child. He grew up in a sad world, until he met Evangelic Jensen, the one person that would change his world forever. Evangelic was the tribute of the Games, and was doomed to die. She made it to the final 2, and managed to do very well for a 12 year old. She had a few weapons with her and had already gotten a few kills to show she had skills. But the axe of the 18 year old Career was too hard for her to fight against. It split her in two, and split Salem in two as well.

He couldn't handle the depression, especially after seeing his and Eva's reading buddies in school, Sammie Park and Thomas Junior. They reminded him too much of her. So he changed his name to Soren, and began getting home-schooled, to avoid any confrontation. His teenage years were boring, and were filled with hiding from any people that would remember him, until he found her in the forest.

Sammie Park was always somebody who reminded him of Eva. He'd see her in the streets, and would avoid her completely, out of fear of reliving memories. But she was injured, and he needed to help her. That one moment changed his life forever, bringing him and Sammie together forever. They fell in love, and married, perhaps too hastily and ended up with a little child to call his own.

Evangelic Park Ryder was born, named after the friend of the two lovers. She lived a short life though. In celebration of something great she did, the three went shopping in the markets. Eva got lost, running into an alleyway, and straight into the arms of a criminal. The blade cut through her skull like it was nothing, and it was because she was just a baby. The knife entered Soren's neck too, sending him into the oblivion of pain, and eventually, the oblivion of hospital drugs.

The drugs gave him more than life. They gave him voices, or rather one voice, that began to control everything about him. It's one goal was to get revenge on Soren's daughter, and kill the man that had stopped the good things that were happening in Soren's life. His goal was to kill a man. Piece of cake, right?
