"Ugh..." Fayet groaned, "what's with the noise?!" Every morning, she wakes up from the banging and working. It is just plain annoying.

It had been happening every single day every since she moved to her uncle's house. The reason she moved was because of her- the girl named Tyler. Because of her, she had been annoyed out of her mind lately.

"I want to go home..." she complained to no one in particular. But she couldn't. She might run into that little annoyance. Fayet sighed.

Her house was much better than her uncle's house despite it being broken down. It was secluded by the bits of forest and it was quiet. She could actually hear herself think there, unlike here.

"I should go there today," Fayet thought. Maybe she won't see Tyler today. It would make her day.

For days, I had been sitting at the creek, crying my eyes out, never able to forget the thought that my best friend died. For days, I had hid myself in seclusion, not wanting to face the world. But today, I knew I had to face someone. I had to do something besides mourn over death. I promised myself I wouldn't even visit the creek. I walked down to the town, but I could barely stand all of the banging. So instead, I started walking near the outskirts of the district, hoping to find something that might be able to cheer my thoughts up and distract me from depression. I spotted a house, covered by bits of forest. Everything was quiet. It was a bit broken down and it looked deserted. I smiled. Deserted houses were always fun to explore.

On Fayet's way to her house, she noticed a girl crying by a creek.

"It doesn't involve me," she told herself, "I shouldn't care for others." She walked passed the creek, uninterested in the girl.

There wasn't a reason that she should go over there and ask what's wrong. No, she wasn't that kind of person.

She stared at the girl for a bit and left to her house. At the moment, her thoughts were the other thing she cared about, not others. The others can die for all she cared.

When she reached her house, she looked at the building.
"Same as always," she thought. She went inside to see if anything else has changed after she left for... about 3 weeks.

Suddenly, a girl passed by the creek and entered the house. "So, it's not deserted. Sounds like a good mystery to me," I said to myself. I took a glance around me, and then I took my chances and ran straight for the house. I looked through the window, but the girl was in a different room, so I quickly slipped open the window and hopped inside. I knew it wasn't right going into other people's houses, but it may be my last adventure, so I'd better make it a good one.

Fayet looked around her house. It felt... comforting that she was back in her own home.

"It's been so long..." she thought although 3 weeks isn't that long. But for Fayet, it had been like, forever.

She glanced around the different rooms and noticed something. Her movement stopped and she listened. There was a small noise.

Silently walking, she followed the noise without letting herself be heard. Peeking her head in one of the doors, she saw the girl who tried to steal from her several weeks ago. Fayet had saw her crying at the creek also.

"Hey!" Fayet exclaimed, "what are you doing here?!" Even so, she took out some daggers and threw them. She wasn't kind enough to let a crying girl into her house.

Fayet also learned to have more control when throwing daggers so they won't go to random places. Her aim became better. Still, she didn't hurt the girl. It is just to scare her from coming to her house again.

I jumped when the girl saw me. She started throwing daggers at me, and they missed by only centimeters. Though, being the brave daredevil that I was, I tried to pretend to act casual. I decided to purposely annoy the girl, just so I had something to laugh about later. So, I walked over to to the couch, sat down slouched as though I lived there, and said in a playful voice, "Hey, so, what's up?" I could barely stop myself from giggling.

"Hey, so, what's up?" the girl asked. Fayet raised an eyebrow. She was a random girl in Fayet's house and all she could say was "what's up?" Is something wrong with her brain?

"...what?" Fayet said in confusion. "Y'know, I can kill you if I want, so get out now. I don't play around." She was serious. She was already grumpy due to the sound of construction giving her a headache. She did not want another annoyance. They, well, annoy her. Fayet didn't get along much with others either.

Impatiently, she waited for the girl to leave her house and leave her alone as well. Taking a dagger out, she twirled it in her hand. If that girl doesn't leave, Fayet is gonna make her.

Bang Bang Bang.I finish hammering in the last nails. Today was extremely noisy, as the construction workers work hard to fix up the houses of District 7 after the many snowstorms that have hit in the Winter. It was finally Spring. I climb down the ladder and grab a towel to wipe my sweat. I take a drink of my bottled water, a special treat the boss gave us for working extra hard today. Noticing the sun peeking out from the clouds, I take off my jacket, revealing my sleeveless muscle shirt. I stretch my huge muscles, and yawn from a hard day at work. A fellow construction worker whom I've never met hobbles toward me. "Hey, Carex, right? I was supposed to work on a house out in the woods, but I kind of broke my foot." Before I can speak, he says, "Don't ask. Anyway, I'll give you all the money for the job if you accept." I agree, and he fills me in on the details.

I walk through the woods, careful not to step in the mud. My bag of tools falls from my shoulder, and I reach down the pick it up, where I find a very small, grey animal with big ears and a thin, long tail. I bet Iwould know what that was if Ree wasn't so stubborn I think to myself, remembering that day. It was all a lie. She never really knew my mother. I had learned her name from school. Even that wouldn't make her budge. I continue walking until I see a house which looks abandoned. I shrug, hoping that contruction worker wasn't just messing with me. I peer into the window, seeing two girl. Probably sisters. I knowck on the door and wait outside.

There was a knock on the door. Fayet was too busy tell the girl to leave that she didn't hear it... or did she? She wasn't going to let random people into her house.

Fayet glared at the girl. "Out. NOW!" Why must more annoyances come into her life? She could kill them all if she wanted to.

Knock, knock.

Fayet twitched. Her head hurts enough. Now, loud sounds made her head hurt even more. It might even be worse than Tyler. No; Tyler was way much more annoying.

She shouldn't have come back home. If only she could just find somewhere quiet to stay, it would be fine. Luckily, her stash of stuff she stole isn't here.

I wait outside for a while, listening to the wind and the animals and the leaves. How I love nature. It is all such a delicate cycle. I have always been fascinated in the outdoors ever since my mother took me out on that nature walk when I was two. My mother. "I miss you."I muttered. Becoming a little impatient, I knock again. Finally, a girl comes to the door. She knows my name. How does she know my name? I study her, but nothing clicks. I always did have a bad memory. "Um, hi."I say. I look over her shoulder to see the other girl, looking very annoyed. "I'm supposed to fix a leaky roof..."I say to them.

I let out a little giggle at the perfect timing. "My "sister" would love to show you were it's leaking," I say to Carex. I can just see how much this is going to annoy the girl, having Carex in her house. "Oh, and "sis," by the way," I say, taking a glance behind me at the girl, and then at Carex. "I can't wait 'til the party later. I'm going to get a LOT of people to come," I joke, "Oh, and Carex, we would love to have you by too. It's at 7:00, here at our house," I tell him. Then, I exit the house. I know the girl's not going to come after me, since there's a bystander, Carex there. I grin and start running. Looks like I've got to get a lot of people for the "party."

Fayet twitched. A party means noise. Noise means her head is gonna head much, much worse.

"No! Come and I will kill you all!" she threatened.

Random people. At her house. Partying. And breaking stuff. That is a nightmare for her. She didn't like people. Fayet will kill them all. She hates people with passion.

With a glare on her face, she opened her mouth. "You," she said pointing to the girl, "if you invite anyone over, you will be the first to have your limbs cut off, stabbed repeatedly, and be left to bleed to death. It's a promise."

Fayet would do it. She hated people that much. People that annoy her- they die a horrible and painful death.

If that girl still invites people over, she will carry out that threat and she would need to set traps around her house.

Carex

I am very confused by the way the girls are acting. First, one invites me to a party, then the other threatens to kill me? The older looking sister seems very mean, explaining in every detail how she would kill her sister. At least the other invited me to the party. Though a party sounds fun, I would like to keep my head, so I say, "Uhh, okay, I won't come to the party then...." I say, still weirded out by this whole thing. "I just came to fix a roof, but if you don't want me to I guess I can leave..." I am very upset by this girl's behavior. Is she cruel to everyone she sees?

The girl screams about killing me. I shrug. It doesn't matter too much anyways. If she kills me, at least I'll be with Ruby. I have to make my last adventure a good one at least. Quickly, I gather people up in town and instruct them that there's a rocking party at that house. It doesn't seem to take too long in fact and it seems everyone wants to go. I come up with a plan. I don't even have to show up, and then the girl won't do anything to me. And if she does anything to anyone, she'll be in trouble herself anyways. I smile. This is going to be perfect.
