Thread with Jaimie and Dylan (Grrrrr)

The girl was surprised when the other girl had saved her. No one ever helped the lame, 17 year old girl that was her. (Link to bio: thehungergamesrpg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lowchar&action=display&thread=20970) She dusted her ragged shorts and t-shirt off. She put a han over her eye. It was badky swollen. She groaned slightly. She turned to the girl to try and say thank you and maybe ask why she had helped her, but the girl was gone. She shrugged slightly. Maybe she would see her later. At school or something. She wiped blood from under her nose, the pain starting to drift away already. She pulled out a list from her pocket. It was upside down so her nimble fingers switched it right side up and her eyes, who had just a second ago been so frantic, started to calm down, making sense of the words.

She sighed. She had a TON of stuff do. It was about 2:30 as school got out at 2:20 and it took her about ten minutes to get beaten up. Ten minutes of wasted and painful time. She sighed and started to walk to the hob to get groceries. She pulled out her grocery list and started to buy items. A loaf of bread, three small slabs of meat that should feed her family for about two days and if they ate it in really small amounts, then maybe three. She also bought a jug of clean water and some peas and green beans. She came a shack and whispered, "One pound please." The man there gave her a pound of coal and she paid him quite a bit. It would take her about another week to get that much money again with the help of her mother. She walked past her house on the way to Mr. Johnson's house. She dropped off the groceries and kept walking. Mr. Johnson was a small, rather sick man. He couldn't bring in his wood by himself anymore so often he would hire her to put it in his house for him so he didn't have to. He paid her well and it was nice to help someone so she did it. Everyday after school. She got there and transported the wood rather quickly into his house. She was strong, but she did't like to fight so she let herself get beat up. Next she went to Keegan's house. He was her age. He lived in the house next to her and she always helped him fight, just in case he was ever reaped. It was good for both of them. They spent about an hour doing that and then she said good bye and went home, thinking about his face. She kind of had a crush on him. He was a cute boy and really nice. He had just moved in but she already liked him. She did her homework at her desk at home and then she ate dinner and did the dishes. "Finally!" She said when she FINALLY finished. She smiled happily and walked down to the center of the Seam where there was a big field and a small baseball game going on. It was good entertainment. She laid on the grass and watched the game and read a book.

(Maybe Dylan could coem to the game to and talk Jaimie into playing or something. Maybe they could become friends.)
