New Friends (Me and Thundy only)

Noelia hadn't been buried in Twelve, but Myla remembered her sister the best when she wandered its streets. Maybe it was the people around that her sister would always enjoy talking to, or the spray of dirt she had kicked up with every step as she dragged her feet.

Either way, it didn't matter. Myla wasn't in District Twelve for the nostalgia.

Silently, easily, she gazed through the fence. Peacekeepers were never much of a bother, and in fact she generally had more trouble with the regular people around. It seemed that every person she came across feared her, or feared her situation. Don't talk to the girl who came from nowhere -- associating with her will lead to punishment. Turn her in. She's trouble.

And what trouble could she really be? She was only there for supplies, albeit ones that she would steal. Who could blame her? It was only survival, and her clothes were worn and torn and she wanted new ones.

It was just then, though, that she heard movement. A peacekeeper? Normally she would be apprehensive, would step back into the trees and hide. But she was already well-concealed, and something told her it wasn't a peacekeeper at all. She couldn't see the person outright, but there was no bright white uniform to alert her.

So, instead of cowering, she spoke up and raised her head.

"Hello?" she asked, her voice somewhat weak.
