With food, and water supplied by the lake, and a shelter built Jakob sat down and began to think of home, not wistfully as one might think, but with curiosity. What would his father say about his strategy of trying to draw the others into a fight he knows they cannot win. What would his "friends" say about him now that he was gone. he had never really trusted them, and he never planned to. People might think he was a jerk when he came home, but who cared he would be rich as a king! He thought of the human life he had taken, not with remorse but with disdain "what a weak fool" he thought "to die so early, and without a fight" he started to shiver even though the sun was still high, so he walked back to his igloo, lit a fire and sat down to wait for someone to find him.
