His steps were careful as he tried to avoid the deepest areas of snow. For whatever reason, he put on some dress shoes to match the outfit he currently had on and well, the end result wasn't very comforting. Snow entered in through the top of the shoe, soon melting and soaking his socks right through. His feet would surely be a pruned mess by the end of the day. Just another thing to add onto reasons why this month has sucked. Alas, he continued along the path and headed in the direction of his latest client. As he grew closer and closer to the building, more and more information was discovered. He knew the owner of the house, or at least knew of him. When you're the top student in a class that focused on animal medicine, many people in the career of working with animals find out about you. And you, in turn, learn of the best of the best around the Capitol. Eric, being that top student, learned of this man within the first week of graduating.

Leo was an animal breeder, Eric believed. It was hard to remember all of the specifics, but he was sure the breeder was a nice enough man who knew his stuff. If Eric had to be called in, there was surely a problem that could affect the business of the young man. Which is why he scurried up the steps and knocked a rhythmic pattern on the door, ignoring the slushiness of his socks as they made absurd noises. The door soon opened and along came Leonardo, beckoning him inside and explaining his situation. Each word entered through Eric's ear, yes, but it barely reached his brain. He just nodded and followed after the man, being sure that he could diagnose the issue upon seeing the creature. And there he was, an obviously dominant dog who even looked under the weather.

"How long ago did you administer the medicine, Leo?" The question was asked in order to determine which antibiotic would best suit the canine before him. Too soon and there could potentially be a reaction between the two drugs. And if it had been a while, another would be more effective. His hand ran along the dog's neck, attempting to soothe him and to get a decent estimate of the animal's temperature.

Whether it was a gift or not, I had immediately figured out exactly what was wrong with the creature before me. For some reason, I just had ease with diagnosis of animals and even humans. And with the conformation of an estimated time, I was able to narrow it down to one of the antibiotics that would surely do its job. After being handed the glass of water which I took a quick sip from, I set to work on clearing a spot for a needle injection. After reaching into my bag and pulling out the razor, I went to work on an area near the front leg. Once it was bare, I prepared the injection. Most antibiotics for animals would cover a wide variety of illnesses since their pathogens were never as complex as those that humans could catch. A simple cold could be cured with the same injection that could fix a hardcore flu bug.

And so, I slowly inserted it and then injected the smooth serum into the animal to fix him up. It would be about an hour before it actually worked, one that I'd have to sit through to ensure that the dog was fine. "No sir, payment is not necessary. I'm just here to help your dog." I smiled at him before adding. "This should fix him right up but we'll have to wait and see how things go throughout the next hour. He could have a reaction due to the medicine you previously gave. But don't you worry, he'll be fine."
