A Particularly Fresh Morning(Matt, open)

Right there, tracks. What could it be? A moose? It looked strangely like a moose mutt. I had already caught a rabbit, and two squirrels, but now I was going for the big meat. The mud from last nights rain made it particularly easy to track, but it still seemed impossible to tell what kind of animal this was. I kept moving along, listening for the slightest sound, but nothing. I continued through the trees, which looked especially nice today because of all the mist and dew there, it was very pretty. Suddenly, I heard rustling. There he is... I stood up, and edged forward. I came into a clearing, and I saw a rustling in the bushes ahead of me, and I got ready. I had decided to use a spear as my primary weapon today, to widen my abilities. I had a perfect shot at it, and with all my might I flung it towards the creature.
"Ow," I heard. Oops, hopefully it didn't hit the person that deep, at least I wish.
