Nothing Else To Do [Skylar/open]

So begins a love affair with anger and amiableness as I try to calculate the mood that I would put myself in for the day. Traveling along cobblestone paths, I couldn't figure it out. Nice? Or mean? Both moods seemed like a good idea, but both of them sounded like a bad idea just the same. If only I had a small little decision maker, just pocket sized, that I could use for times like these, where I couldn't make up my mind.

A small kip of my foot as the heel hit pebbles that lined the alleyway I was walking, scooting them forward. I squatted and scooped up a handful, as if they would somehow rid me of my problems. I continued on, step by little, little step. And with each step came a harder decision for me to make. Nice? Or mean?

A sharp turn left and almost all of the pebbles that were once in my hand were now nonexistent. If only I had let go of all of them, maybe, just maybe, the mood that I had decided would be the opposite of what it was. But I hadn't, and now in front of me, sat a sleeping man, lounging as if he were in the comfort of his own home. Even stranger, he was on a bench. It was then that I tossed the rest of the pebbles, more like threw, into the man. It was then that I knew what mood I would be in, and the thoughts of a personal pocket sized decision maker were changed forever. Would he wake up?
