Donovan and Alex Gould walked through the halls of their headquarters, sad at what they saw. Their numbers were way down, recruitment was not having much luck, and all of this was coming at the worst possible time. Not only was the Prestige attacking at every opportunity, one of the old gangs, the Fringe, had just agreed to an alliance with Amory.

They had to get more members, and they had to make a move before the Fringe had time to restore themselves to their former glory. Of course, there was a good chance they were already there, which meant if they didn't deal with one of their enemies soon, this could be the end.

Soon they had reached the main conference room and had taken their seats. Messages had been sent out to the main members about an hour ago, so the main members should be showing up soon. And hopefully they would be able to turn things around.

A meeting, Jason thought. What fun!

Sarcasm, of course. Jason was not the happy and ecstatic type even in the best of moods. The only time he ever laughed or smiled was during Untouchable missions.

Well, if there was going to be a meeting, now was the right time for it. Apparently, The Fringe had made an ally of the Prestige. This was bad news for the Untouchables. The gang was heavily armed and Jason had trained the military well, but even firepower and discipline sometimes have to bow to numbers.

Jason got seated in his chair. "Okay!" he said happily. He cleared his throat. " 'Minutes of Last Meeting:

9:30 - Meeting called to order. Low attendance.

9:32 - Untouchable Anthem sang. Head of Military Jason Black abstains.

9:35 - Loyalty of Jason Black called into question.

9:37 - Jason argues that he will not sing the anthem until his salary increases. Arguing breaks out.

9: 39 - Full-fledge fight occurs.

9:45 - Fight breaks up. Minor injuries. Forget what argument was about. Meeting adjourned.' ".

Jason proudly looked up from his notebook. "Okay. So... " Jason attempted an imitation of Alex. "Let this meeting be called to order!"

Resno Maltney: Bomb specialist, 41, Male, District 3.

Jason Black: Head of Military Operations of Untouchables, 26, Male, District 1.

Mittens giggled, and Beryl rolled her eyes, remembering vividly.

"Oh, that was a big fiasco." The African-American woman muttered.

"The fact that the Prestige, and Amory, are better at the whole long-term thing that you all seem to be lacking in." Mittens said, pushing her shoulder-length brown hair out of her face. "I was the one who said we should take the gentle, alliance approach, but no." She glared at the Gould brothers. "You wanted to blow something up." Beryl grinned.

"How'd that work out for you?" She asked Donovan and Alex.

Alex rolled his eyes at Mittens and Beryl. "Well, how do you think it turned out? We're down to very few people, we have two gangs allied against us, and let's face it, we know Fringe will make other alliances. We need membership, and I at least, have found one person."

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce the stunning Cassie Green!" Donovan announced, looking to the door, as this was the cue for Cass to enter.

There were five members of the Untouchables, excluding herself.

Noting their faces, her gray eyes scanned the room for her seat. Spotting it, she sat down quietly, grinning slighlty. The Untouchables. It had never occured to her that she might actually be a part them. In the days back when her parents were still roaming the earth, she had feared them.

But she didn't regret her decision. It was nice to be apart of something. Especially something this rebelious.

All she knew is that this would be interesting. She almost felt at home amongst the various guns and other contraptions lying around.

Noticing that she hadn't spoken yet, she eyed the others. "Glad to be here, then." Her voice was marked with a bit of ancient accent (British, I daresay).
