Chapter two
Cato's hand took hers as they stepped onto the train and her breath caught at the sheer speed with which the train left the station. She followed him into the train car, crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling while delicacies covered the table. She stared at the car in awe. If this is the train, I can't wait to see the capitol she thought. She'd dreamed of the Capitol, many nights, she wanted to see it, even though it was because she was going to fight to her death.

"You two are free to do as you wish till lunch which is in an hour" the escort, Aldwin, said. She looked at him, her green eyes staring in awe.

"Come on, Ris, let's explore the train" Cato said. She let herself be pulled along. They walked through the train towards the rear and she was surprised at the luxury of it. District two was pretty posh but nothing compared to this.

"This is so cool" She said, looking around. Cato smiled, looking at her.

They padded along the train until they came out to a beautiful glass car that allowed them to watch as the country flew past. Iris stared at the view before Cato pulled her in. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he smiled at her.

When they were called into the dining room, Iris's eyes widened as she saw the food laid out before them. She sat down across from their escort and one of their mentors, Enobaria. The victoress had sharp teeth because during her games, she'd killed her victims by ripping out their throats with her teeth. Iris remembered watching that games and she shivered at the thought. I'm glad I wasn't in the arena with her Iris thought.

"So, what are we doing for training?" Cato, as was normal, got straight to the point. Enobaria smiled.

"Well, considering the two of you are together, I was thinking maybe you two could train together also since you're both careers it would make sense." She replied. Iris smiled. She liked that idea

"That sounds good to me, what about you Ris?"

"Sounds fine"

"Now, eat up you two we should be at the Capitol shortly" Aldwin said. Iris nodded and filled her plate. She ate all of it and after wards, she wished she hadn't because she felt sick.

"Hey, Ris, you're looking a little green, are you alright?"

"I think I ate too much"

Iris excused herself from the table and wandered into the bathroom. Most of the food, because she wasn't used to all the rich Capitol food, came back up. She had always hated barfing but the rich food didn't agree with her stomach. As she wretched, she heard Cato come in and he patted her back, holding her hair out of her face. Once she was sure it was all gone, she looked up.

"Thank you" She said

"No problem, feeling better?" She nodded, a blush coloring her cheeks. "Come on, lets get you cleaned up."
