Sometimes, my head comes in handy. And by sometimes, I mean when I want it to (which is never ever ever in front of my friends)

[/color]. They all just think I have a natural talent at being a great Career - which isn't a talent here at all. Talent is hard to distinguish between what you trained and trained and trained to become, what people expect of you, what you expect of yourself. What I expect of myself, I'm not quite sure.[/color] So my 'talent' doesn't come from a natural ability to be able to kill someone, it's more to do with my mind and the way it ticks, apparently. According to school, I have a head with advanced molecular brain development with an ability to vary its state or action in response to varying situations and/or requirements more accurately than most my age - but I just call it my own private freakshow.

Freakshow aside, according to my friends and other various training people I'm great with aim and have a knack for hitting targets. Other than that, I'm slack at school and don't really care about it and struggle with math and science and the rest that follows. And that's the way I like it.[/color] Catching a glance of Scarlett - a friend from school- 's figure in the corner of my eye, I smiled at my handiwork and placed my bow down, making my way towards her.

"Hey!" I smile brightly, turning the ditzy up a notch or two. "How's training going for ya?"

It wasn't the pain from the fall that brought her back to reality, it was the getting back up. She was so use to being almost perfect at mostly everything she did. Yea she was crazy and had a very few friends but that meant nothing to her. She knew nothing was in her reach, but that is what determined her to chase the odds. She went back at the obstacle that had knocked her down so many times. Determination was setting in, she knew she had to do it and get it done or she would hate herself forever.

She leaped up grabbing the pipe. Her fingers clung to it for dear life. But she felt herself slipping off. It was a mixture of sweat and other bs. She didn't like it. But at that moment is when she fell straight to the ground like a bag of cement. She felt her back hit it and knock the wind out of her. She stayed on the floor for a second, cursing herself in her head. She finally got up and sat. She looked around and saw one of her friends heading over to her. Scarlett raced trying to get herself somewhat not looking like trash.

When her friend came over she heard from her, "How's training going for ya?"

She replied to her friend,"Well, besides actually hurting myself more then anything, actually quiet well. Just wish I could get past this obstacle. I don't know why it is being a slimy bugger with me."She looked at her friend, she could see her being a little weird at the moment, but then again Scarlett was use to it from anyone and everyone.

Glancing towards the training equipment, my mind begins to tick. f=ma when f is the force, m is the mass of the body it is acting upon and a is the acceleration of the body so force is directly proportional to the acceleration it will cause, like the obstacle and Scarlett are numbers and my head is the equation trying to figure out an inevitable answer. I wish it was as easy as flicking a switch to turn it off.

[/color] But, I have to admit, at times like this I can turn it into talent and write it off as luck. Furrowing my eyebrows together for a moment, I stand back and observe the obstacle, making sure not to take too long, and turn to Scarlett. "Here," I say, taking a couple of paces backwards. "Let me try."

Taking a running start, my palms find the floor and I spring forwards, letting the wind rushing past my ears and the world turn upside down. Here, I am weightless.[/color] Everything is a blur before my head is propelled upwards once more and I grasp onto the pipe, somersaulting forwards again before using the momentum to fall to the ground on the opposite side. Thanks freakshow,[/color] I think with a grin before turning to Scarlett. "See? It's not that bad. Try it!"
