The sound of the death bell [Shine]

Fear. I'm so afraid of what will happen to me. How did they find out about our plans to kill our owner, or I should say, my plans because they never discovered the other girl, she got away with it. I can't say that I hate her because I don't. I feel relieved that she got away with it and that she can keep her child. The man holding my arms so that I can't move shoves me into a cell and I fall, making a gutteral cry because I don't have a tongue. I stand up, hearing the metallic click as they lock me in here and I turn, seeing the bars that keep me in this tiny damp cell. Anger sparks inside me. They can't keep me in here, never. I will not let them lock me up like an animal. I am Miyuki Mereposa, before I was avoxed I had power and wealth. I hate them. I hate them for what they did to me.

I turn back to my cell, it's tiny, only two metal planks for bed, a small sink and a bucket for what I'm assuming is our buisiness. I wrap my tail around myself, allowing the soft fur to comfort me in this unfamiliar place. I rub my fingers through my red ears and listen as the footsteps of the guards fade down the hallway. Once they're gone, I turn to the other figure in the room. I hadn't realized that I'd be placed in a room with a guy. Hello, I'm Miyuki who are you? I signed. I didn't know if he could understand sign language. I looked down, feeling embarassed by the fact that I'd be rooming with a male. I'd never been great around members of the opposite sex but I guessed now would be my time to learn.
