Routines were never something I cared about, even back in the academy, and the uniform was a total waste. That being said this was a more official...event...then hunting down runaways, so it demanded a more professional attire. Today I would be questioning the trainer here in District 2 for suspected conspiring with a known criminal. Not my usual area of expertise and certainly not something I like to make time for in my busy schedule, but whatever the President wants investigated gets investigated. Walking around the barracks I flipped through the file of Valeria Caden, taking note of the important details and information about the girl. Her status was impressive, a skilled fighter and a trainer within the Capitol itself before the Games. She must have showed great promise to have made that position.

I quickly grew bored of reading page after page of the information listed in her folder and threw it on the table beside my bed. Grabbing one of the white muscleshirts from my bed I slipped it onto my muscular frame and stood up in my starched white pants. Glancing briefly at the small mirror in my room I nodded satisfied that I appeared official enough for the occasion and walked out of my room and back into the hall of the barracks. Some of the other trainees and even some of the permanent fixtures within this district stopped and stared at me as I walked down the hall. I couldn't help but grin behind the mask that was now a permanent fixture on my face in order to keep me alive. District 2 wasn't my base of operations, infact no district was, I was as free as a wanderer as far as where I could go. Every now and again though I got called out to a particular district to carry out a mission that required someone of my...experience.

Kicking open the doors of the facility I walked out into the "fresh" air of the district and in the general direction of the home of Valeria Caden. Some of the kids stopped briefly to watch me as I passed by, looks of interest or suspicion on their faces. It wasn't every day that they saw Abraham Forsythe walking among them, especially considering I normally remained invisible to the people. Quickly though the crowds on the streets thinned as I approached the home of the girl I would be questioning. It was a more rural street, for the people who were wealthier than everyone else, even by the districts standards, and of course Val would be payed well for her services to the Capitol. I adjusted the straps on my wrist guards and checked the gun that hung at my hip knowing that appearance with these things was everything.

Walking up the step I gave a loud knock to the door and waited "patiently" for a responce. Lucky for me and this girl she was quick to respond to the knock and the door swung open infront of me. I will admit that seeing her on paper was nothing like seeing her in person, and I firmly believed that they did no justice to her. In any event, in responce to her greeting, I brushed past her and into her home without so much as a word. Quickly I walked from room to room taking in every detail that I saw knowing that the knowledge of the layout of her home would be invaluable should she prove to be an enemy of the Capitol. Satisfied that I had taken in all that there was to see of her home I walked back to the front hall and grabbed her arm leading her into her kitchen.

"Valeria Caden, you are suspected of conspiring with the known runaway and rebel Jeremy Nalaar. Several records show that he has shown some interest in you of late, and while we have no proof that you have spoken with each other aside from todays exchange there is no proof to make us believe otherwise. I'm here to question you and here what you have to say in defense of yourself. Normally this priviledge wouldn't be given to anyone and suspects would be taken to the Capitol immediately, but I was asked personally to handle this case so consider it an act of mercy that I'm here."
