I am just a little overweight, I don't mean to be, I just am. It might be because I have a decent amount of food. I don't mind my long blond hair or sparkly blue eyes. They suit me fine, and I like the way I look, even if it could be better. I am comfortable in my 5'4" body.

When I read I am able to fly away from my body, into a world that no one else is able to penetrate. I spend hours immersed in books. It's when I leave the problems occur. I rarely notice when others are talking to me, their words crumble beneath the words of the book. I do not hear the insults, but that becomes a problem when I can not hear the distress or anger of the speaker. It is hard for me to understand the way others think; they are a book I cannot read. When I try to explain the words come out jumbled and confused. I often give up and retreat, back to the books.

I was born to a family of outsiders. I fit right in next to the other misfits. They are the few people I am able to bond with, the few that I care about. I am more open to the Willows. I go to school and sit quietly, watching the other girls ignore me and gossip about others. I have lived an uneventful life in some ways, in others I have gone on more adventures than I can count. More often then not I end up underneath a tree, reading peacefully. Sometimes I wish that no one would bother me, other times I want them to yank me up and tell me they love me.
