BRAWL :: district four brawlers [open]

There’s nothing like a good ole’ fight; blood, sweat, tears, and an abundance of colorful cursing. Secrecy is one’s greatest ally, however, when one doesn’t want to be arrested for public disturbance and assault. Under the cover of night and behind closed doors, District Four’s more civilized brawlers meet. This rag-tag group has been around for years and probably has men in it older than your pa. Most of the more active members, however, are mere boys and girls, untwist yourself, ya’ idjit looking for an outlet that doesn’t disappear off to the DC. A lot of the members were inducted in their early teen years, usually due to some lacking in societal or familial grace. No one’s too old or too young to be a brawler, though. In a makeshift ring in a basement somewhere off in the warehouse sector of the district, these lads and lasses will go at it. Keep three things in mind, and you’ve got yourself a center-ring exposition.

No weapons.
No disrespect.
No intent to kill.

To make a match-up, one only has to make a challenge. Challengers send word to their wanted opponent. Opponents have three days to answer. Those who do not answer or refuse are mocked mercilessly for the rest of all time. Betting is encouraged, and not limited in the slightest. Fights go until one of the participants calls it or someone is ten seconds down, but can also be postponed to continue a second day. Ladder matches happen thrice a year and usually end in knock-outs. Champions get ultimate bragging rights until beaten which will probably happen within a few days because let’s be honest, they will be challenged at their weakest because this is a group of assholes who care about each other. Those not fighting are free to make challenges at any time. However, match line-ups for the night are announced the night previous, so no challenge can be acted upon immediately unless negotiated with an existing night’s brawlers.

nuada lir conall. male. eighteen. poor, poor, poor. dancer. fighter. too much energy. former bff of noah ripley. strict moral code. looks up to h. strange facial expression. suggestive and lewd, but never makes good on those promises. touchy.


D :: played by the aeronautical anna
metisi temoris allade. female. twenty-ish. worry-wart. go-to thinker. brilliant mind. sharp wit. bunch of phobias. not the best of fighters, but enjoys the sport anyhow. finds it a little awkward with other members sometimes.


Q :: played by
--- --- ---. male. late teens to early twenties. resident asshole to the maximum extent. doesn’t know when to shut his mouth. snarky. mean-spirited. sexist. rival relationship with l, but it’s lighthearted enough. devoted to the group despite attitude.


B :: played by the kaleidoscopic kire
arabeth jocelyn stoico. female. mid to late teens. fierce. explosive. easily ticked off, especially by q. soft spot for d. easily one of the better fighters. trouble with parents. picked on, including inside of brawlers. short stuff.

Alrighty then. So, this plot is now open for applications. Fighting and snarking and lots of banter are to be expected. I’m also going to accept some apps for other members, either existing or to-be-made, if you would like to add another character. I would like these three above made, however, because they were originally in my head when I started to create Nuada.
