Time and time again a failed task is set before me by my father. It's aggravating to know he doesn't like when I fail, but to me the only failure is the one that gives up; however, trying to get my father to understand my reasoning is like having a blind man lead another blind man. It's bound to end in consequences, so I stop trying. I've learned to agree and move on. It makes life much easier for the both of us. It's been a while since I've attempted to write a letter to Ceria. I want to meet her to learn more about her. I want to know if she is my sister my father talks about. I try to ask him more questions, yet he always turns me away like it's none of my business if my sister or my mother is alive. It causes the frustration to build inside me. This was our latest encounter today. I told him I was going to go out to look for Ceria, and that was a huge mistake. I should have told him I was going to meet a friend, but I had to say Ceria. I had to tell him I was looking for her. I shake my head as I walk out of the door into the cool wind belonging to the winter. My feet drag through the district as I lurk in the shadows away from everyone. I want to be alone from everyone. Being alone allows me to be myself even though it's only for a few moments.
