I know that I'm an idiot and I should have submitted this at Christmas but I am a potato, it takes me like 2 year to have a think, bear with me here.

Ah ha, now, I know that I can't be the only one who has a badass career who can kill people with his flaming fists of awesome! Like, you feel me?

All I'm saying is, there are careers who don't fight with sword or spear but fight with their hands? Like, we can say they are an awesome super duper black belt aww yeah, but it doesn't even matter because the dice rolls for hand to hand are like miss, .5, 2, or crushed skull?

What I'm suggesting/asking, is that there is a 'martial arts' die, and to use it, one must receive like, gloves as their weapon, or a black belt, as well as having a history of martial arts in their bio? It would just be super cool and like, so many cool thing AND COOL BECAUSE FISTS AND HEE YAH AND OMG PLEASE

I've got plans to retool the whole dice system when I've got a chance^^ I probably won't have a chance until like this summer, but it's on the agenda. There probably won't be an advanced 'martial arts' dice or anything, because that would mean there would have to be a second set of dice for every weapon's specialization, which is just too much – but unarmed combat (as well as a few others) will get a major facelift.

I don't suppose there is anyway I can have my martial arts boy still effectively use martial arts in my posts but just like, have a sword and use a sword die, or would that be too confusing?

I feel like martial arts dice should be a thing for Peacekeepers at the very least (since they've had formal training), and/or added to the list of possible stations for the Hunger Games.

In the case of the former, it seems pretty weird to me that if my Peacekeeper who has been through training to be a soldier/police officer gets into a fistfight with some person on the street, they're on the same level as far as unarmed combat.

But I agree, it would be way too complicated to apply it to all the weapons; maybe just unarmed combat?

IDK, just thinking aloud.
