alright I'm just going to get straight to the point. I have a couple questions about what seems to be generally acceptable on the site, just because I don't want to say anything that could be considered rude.
First: Is it okay to message someone and ask if they want to thread with specific characters even if they don't have a plot thread open? I hope that makes sense. As in, you see someone's CD, and you think that one of their characters might work well with one of yours. Is that completely nonsensical? I just hope that would be okay.

Second: if someone has a FC that you want and it's on a character they don't seem to use much, I'm assuming it's not okay to ask them if you could have the FC? This one I'm pretty sure is generally not-okay, but I just want to double-check.

Sorry if this doesn't make any sense 0_0 feel free to ask for clarification! Thanks for any help!

Hi Demi, I have been here fairly long and actually have had both of those questions asked a few times. For the first, it is completely acceptable to ask someone, all you have to do is be polite to them and most people will say yes, but you know some are busy and some will say no. On the second one, it feels a bit rude to ask someone if you can have it. Usually if I love a fc and stuff that somebody doesn't use often, I try to thread with that charrie. THough, you can always ask if you can make a twin to the character too, which I have allowed before with someone else. Though, most people won't just give up fcs. Though, it doesn't hurt to ask politely, and you never know, you may get one I guess. the worst that can happen is they say no. It just depends on the person really.
