Pavel Chekov --

He'd been assigned to the Olympics, he wasn't sure why, he was basically an intern of sorts on the Keptin's ship. And now he was here and now he was in the folds of district four, wondering around the streets with the small of seaweed and salt in the air. He liked the smell that came with this district, but he resented the fact that his entire stay here was to watch over a bunch of teenagers playing in games for the Capitol's entertainment. It wasn't that he didn't like the Capitol, he liked the Capitol, after all he worked for the Capitol, but he also liked the freedom he got by exploring lands with the Keptin, he got to do all sorts of things and the Keptin let him study plants and besides if it weren't for the Keptin he would have never met the Avox with the colour changing hair.

He blushed at the thought of her. He liked her.

Pavel had been set to the task of roaming around the Olympics making sure nothing naughty happened, because apparently bad stuff happened when three career district mingled. He was very nervous. He didn't like big crowds and more so he did not like being away from the hovercraft. After all he was the youngest recorded peacekeeper in history. Well he wasn't a full peacekeeper, not yet, they thought that his age was a limiting factor, so he was on a probation of sorts.

He kicked the ground, scuffing his boots, hands deep in his pockets. This was boring.

My presence is in high demand in these parts, and it was hard to make time in my schedule to make an appearance. But don't worry, I'm here just for your delight. The Princess has hit the red-carpet.

I am the Capitolite's princess of course. No other wears the crown quite like me, for I am the apple of the great city's eye. They adore me there and they practically treat me like I'm a victor. Luckily I didn't have to dirty my hands to gain such honor. I simply was born and they decided to fawn over me.

Look, here comes one of my adoring fans already. A lad only a year older than me (I'm certain he knows my name), wearing a peacekeeper uniform. Hello, boy! Have you come to worship me? I call out to him, of course, as any reigning monarch should do.

"Darling, you have no need to walk alone." I give him my grace with a sickly-sweet tone, as a good monarch should always do. I adore my fans as much as they adore me. "Would you like some company on your honorable duty? Princess Lluvia would be delighted to accompany you this evening."

The boy would respond with nothing but admiration, I am certain. Nobody could resist me, the jewel of the Capitol.

For a moment he was lost in thought, thinking of that girl he had met. He wondered what she was doing right now, if she was okay. He hoped she was, he knew that Kirk would never touch a hair on her head, that as long as she remained on the hovercraft she would be safe from all forms of abuse. It was comforting, to say the least, to know that when he got back he'd be ab;e to find her just as safe as when he had left her. He wasn't really even sure why he was so absorbed by everything she did, but lately, every time he had needed to fix something or attend to a job he had asked for her assistance, he'd talk to her, rambling on about what he was ding, about all the sorts of things he needed to fix things. Her hair spoke for her, he loved watching it change colour, when it turned white he knew he had made her very happy, and it was his favourite colour to see.

He was dragged from these pleasant thoughts as a lady moved to stand beside him, as soon as she began to speak he knew that she was from the Capitol, it was in her tone, that same accent every Capitolite had, however hers seemed to be tinged with a bit more regality? Was that the right word to use? Anyway, as she introduced herself he found a slight brush creeping across his cheeks, she called herself a princess and Pavel Chekov was never one to doubt what others said, knowing that doing such a thing could lead to hurt and anger, so instead he took a step away, turning to face her, before performing an elegant bow.

"Your majesty, I'd be honoured to be in your company." He said, words bubbling from his lips like a steam train. He was never one to speak without actually speaking, his words hardly ever had a space between them, he wondered if they were even hearable.
