:| No Place for Non-PC Songs |: {SpecialK; Blitz}

I was simply walking through District 12 on one of those frigid winter days. Nearly everything that I own bundled around me to keep me warm, but it just would not do. At least I was lucky to have something. Some unlucky children were roaming the streets wearing what would be hard to call long sleeved shirts. I want to help them, I really want to help them so badly. But because my older sisters had gone off to marriage I just could not afford to. These clothes will be going to my younger sisters after all, and I just do not have time or materials to knit more sweaters.

Seeing these children on the street tears me apart. They rip at my inner most feelings and nearly bring me to tears. I just can't afford to help them.

I see this carving and it's utterly magnificent, so I stop and look at it, gaining muse to maybe write a poem. I'm just finding my truly great writing place, seeing the dexterity that must have been needing to make those carvings, when a girl comes by and freaks out about it. She must be worried sick about something, I should make sure to find out if she's O.K. or not.

"No. No didn't see who put this here. But I find it quite nice, don't you?" I say, smiling at the girl who looks to be around my age. And then, on a more personal note, "Are you okay?" I whisper back

The other girls tone down her, for lack of a better word, freaking out. I'm just so absolutely sure there was a really good reason behind it. Everyone always has external circumstances affecting the way they act. At least I think I learned that in school. I'm not really sure because I wasn't paying attention, I was naturally trying to form words together into poetry and that day I simply was getting nowhere.

She said that she wanted to carve like that carving. Maybe she was a carver. I really would love to find out about that. "I'm sure you have some great carvings!" I say, before taking myself back, "If you are in fact a carver. I'm sorry if I assumed wrongly." I do hope i did not upset her with my assumptions, she already looked like she was in a bit of a tizzy.

Oh shoot! I had forgotten to introduce myself! That's just so rude of my. We had been having a conversation, and yet I hadn't introduced myself to this seemingly lovely lady.

"Nice to meet you Chloë," I say, matching the intonation that she puts at the end of her name, it must be french of something like that. "I'm Marisa Penelope Alonso. It's a pleasure to meet you." I'm genuinely excited to meet someone that I've never seen before, after all, District 12 is really a rather small community of people. There is hardly anyone who is around you're own age who you don't know.

"Hey, Chloë, maybe you could show me some of your carvings! I'd really love to see them!" I say/ Maybe I've found a new potential friend!
