The six tribute in the floating lights will notice three lights closely bunched together, one looks as though it is moving, if only slightly, it gives off a warm glow.

If no -- the middle light will flicker and die, dropping to the ground with a thunk.

(this was yes, jsyk what you missed out on: If yes -- The light moves forwards, as though awakened by your touch. It will stay by your side, and will protect you from the first attack of your next fight that deals damage. After which the light will fade and the ball will drop to the ground, useless.)
