For once I've found something I enjoy. It seems like everyone is leaving me alone which is exactly what I want. Having people learn what I'm capable of doing just seems stupid, so instead of showing off, I find something to learn. Something to challenge myself, yet no matter what I do, or where I go people are standing around lurking from every corner peaking. For once the world feels at ease. Like I'm myself and a stupid puppet isn't inside me controlling my movements, but it could be because I'm alone.

My hands wrap around a club sitting in front of me, and I stare at the material in front of me. Every item has a purpose, and if I roll it up tight enough, I can make a makeshift weapon out of it. It'll become a club like the one I built back home using spare materials lying around. Twirling the original club in my hands, I look around hoping nobody's following me. Yet standing here in such a popular facility takes away the pains of going unnoticed. Eyes are on me all the time waiting for the perfect moment to pounce, and all I can do it stand here like a stupid idiot.

I slam the club into the ground one time before tightening my grip against it. Holding onto these things have been hard, but once it's mastered the world around me feels easy. It feels like the day has just ended, and the goal of succeeding has been accomplished. My only goal is to return home alive, to survive the games. To make sure that the world around me has nothing else to do except chant my name as I walk onto the stage. Oh, that'll be the day. The best day anyone could ever ask for.

My only other option right now is dying, and that can't happen. I have a life a head of me. I have a family to return home to, one to take care of. Chance wouldn't forgive me if I died. He wouldn't remember me. He would forget me. Every one would, but that's not the case. Slowly shaking my head, I turn towards the stupid pieces of materials in front of me before grabbing them. Carefully, I start rolling them as tight as I can. It's not nearly as stable as the true club laying beside me, but this'll definitely make due as a decent weapon.
