Lunch time arrives and I find my stomach grumbling and growling, which is surprising considering I stuffed myself full of pastries, waffles, pancakes, strawberry's, toast and a variety of other things until I felt like my stomach was going to burst. Clearly, my stomach was empty again, judging by the growling and wailing sounds it was making as I attempt to block a trainer from hitting me with a huge baton like stick. Finally the lunch bell rings and I am first to abandon my weapon, before I practically run across the room towards the lunch hall. These past few days in the Capitol have really messed with my perseption of being hungry. 

The lunch hall smells devine. As it has done since day one, where I walked into the room to find more options than I could count on my fingers and toes. What made lunch more special, was the option of bread they had to offer; there was bread from every single District here. From District 2 whole meal and to my own District bread. Though, the Drop biscuits in the Capitol looked nicer than the ones back home. My mother used to make them out of the terresae grain we got, I am guessing that the Capitol doesn't use that here. 

Regardless of what it is made of, I pick up several of the scone like breads before I move onto the cold meats and fruits and other things. By the time I have made my round, my plate is filled to the brim. The food percuriously balances on the plate as I make my way to the nearest empty table. I grimace as I watch one of the sausage rolls roll slightly, but then it doesn't fall from the plate. Putting the plate down on the table, I sit myself down and pour myself a glass of water as I bite into one of the drop biscuits.
