Clarification on Religion

I'm not speaking for the staff, this is just my personal input as a long time member.

From what I've seen, a wide variety of religions have been portrayed on the site, but mostly on a small scale. Either it's a character's personal beliefs and it's something private or maybe even secretive of theirs or it's a fairly small group of people come together to form cult-sized collectives.

I know personally I've written everything from Voodoo priestesses to witchcraft to a quietly Christian family to an all out hippie earth mother cult to an obsession with the apocalypse to fallen-Tributes-as-gods to anchorites to all number of generic, unspecified levels of belief or lack thereof. The staff here are pretty flexible when it comes to allowing people to be creative with their ideas.

So yeah, I guess the only thing I can't really comment on for sure is whether or not a large, highly structured and organized system of religion would be allowed (like contemporary Christianity, etc). Probably not? But almost anything on a small or personal level should definitely be allowed — you can stick to tradition or re-imagine things or make something up entirely.
