Alfan 'Alf' Cryer D2|Male|17 Career |
APPEARENCE Smoothed facial features, Alfan has no flaws on his face. Remnants of stubble rest on his fair skinned chin, from where he has shaved it. Highlighting the rest of his face are his eyes, a perfectly oval shaped brown pair. Stretched above them are the twinned not quite fleek eyebrows, which are occasionally plucked. Placed on the top if his head is a black neatly-combed set of locks, soft at the touch.Not much maitenance has gone into his hair, just a few strides with a brush in the morning and then perfection. Weighing in at 10st Alfan’s height doesn’t suite him at all, as he is just reaching 5ft 6 inches tall. Being small in height, however muscle wise Alfan has a few advantages. Toning ‘pecks’ biceps and the few abdominal muscles, Alfan really works his body, he even does leg day. Alfan tends to wear the finest of clothing in the entire District. On occasions he is known to even wear a shirt and a tie, but usually he just wears plain shirts with elaborate jackets. As well as this, Alfan has the one pair of shoes he always wears. A pair of black trainers, with a white sole, they’re useful for everything. For example running, walking and going out on fine dates. Despite being the definition of what many may call 'pretty-boy' there are a few hidden flaws within his appearance, that Alf wishes to keep to himself. The major thing he dislikes is of course, his height. Quite small for his age, even his sisters are much taller than him, his little brother following suit. Alfan adopted the shortness from his mother, the only thing he did adopt from her.Like any typical teenage boy, Alfan sweats a lot,espescially during training. However on occasion, he has been left with wet patches on the armpits of his shirt, while out with friends. His random excessive sweats, find him in quite embarrasing situations. Although the greatest flaw of them all, which he keeps to himself. Is the great big blob on his neck. Commonly known as a birthmark, it is resembles to shape of nothing remarkable. It is as if someone just splatted his neck with paint, thankfully enough he can cover it up with the collar of his shirt. Alfan finds it rather un-attractive, even his little brother doesn't have a random abomination on his skin,that he knows of. PERSONALITY Accompanying his charming appearance, Alf enjoys the swooning of girls around him. Somehow he has the talent to influence women to love him, which he does quite often. He enjoys the pleasures which come from women, when he came of age; he invited many to his bed. They’re like toys to him, although he hopes to have a real mistress by his side, when the right one comes along. Alf is too greedy to just take pleasure off women and on occasions has woken up with a male besides him in bed. Aside from his sexual addictions, Alf enjoys a drop of liquor from time to time as well as the occasional puff of a cigarette. He is not the typical alcoholic and has the capabilities to actually control himself. Taking a particular interest in hand to hand combat, Alf let’s all the frustration out,that he can’t when sleeping with a woman(or man), onto a punch bag or another boys face. Being a career, Alf takes his training quite seriously. He is the typical stuck-up career, pushing over the little guys as well as questioning those who’re bigger than him. You could say he has a case of little man’s syndrome. With qualities, come flaws. Alf finds himself paranoid most of the time, from the distrust from others. This flaw is a big factor for whenever he judges another career in training or other people, which usually results in him throwing a fist in another’s face. Often hi is shunned by his mother for being remorseless & selfish, especially around his siblings. He cares more often for himself and forgets his siblings even exist, especially his little brother. Having a key ambition to be the last tribute left alive in the games, Alf’s sole purpose in life is to train. Although on occasion he actually has some hobbies, besides sleeping and hitting people. Alf has a keen interest in music, whatever the genre. He likes noise, productive noise, not the rambling on of another. Regularly he has earphone in when out training, or alone in his room. Besides being a merciless,selfish scoundrel, Alf does love his close friends. If by chance he befriends someone, he loves to get up too a little mischief with them. Picking on the innocent, or winding up some elderly resident. On occasion he uses the slight brain in his head for the wrong things, he is the ultimate prankster, With the help of some friends, he enjoys to play practical jokes on civilians, especially girls.Somehow his pranking gets hi him laughs, when they don't go horribly wrong.Besides torturing the citizen of the district, he does like to chill out with his friends, but his friends don't tend to last very long, if he feels they may distrust him in a way. HISTORY Growing up in the most fortunate of all districts, 2, Alfan had the easy upbringing. Being the eldest of four children (by 7 minutes), he was not alone in his start to life. Alf’s parents were both well to do in the district. Norrel Cryer, his father had no job, but decided to help train up the new careers however he started to focus more on his own children. Living off their mother’s work Marion, who helps distribute perfume for The Captiol, Alf’s father needn’t have a real job. Being one of the first born, Alf shared the womb with his twin Lilith. Lilith has more of a heart than Alf but still does the career training, which she isn't bad at. Following Alf and Lilith three years later is Kaidan, a 14yo. Unlike his other siblings, he is much quieter, a mothers boy. Kaidan dislikes the career life, he forever runs away from the training, he’d rather stay in schooling and get a proper job. Alf forgets at times that Kaidan actually exists, his sisters love the little fellow, but to Alf the kid is useless.Finally, Yara the little devil. Alf is quite scared of her, as she is slowly growing superior with training over Alf. She is a little diva and is likely to have less morality than Alf. As an infant, Alfan was a sweet child, nothing of what he resembles of today. Always in his mother's arms, he never left her side. Very intrigued by the smells she sprayed from the glass jars, he was always with her when she worked. During schooling, he was quite a confident child, forever asking questions and doing as he was told. Once he reached eleven, he had his own gathering of close friends, although he wasn't exactly the most popular one in the class. He enjoyed the accompany of others, he didn't want to be the centre of attention. During his classes, he always helped his peers who were struggling, he enjoyed helping...His mother believe it was his father that made him spiteful, the career training. Not until he threw his first punch was he ever the merciless selfish boy. His mother tries to believe there is still the little sweet boy inside him. Maybe once he was 19,he'd be back in that sweet boy state. She hopes it is just an act he is putting on, an act which could help him win the games if he was ever reaped. Marion begs that her little sweet brown-eyes boy comes back to him, maybe true love would help. Living somewhat in the centre of the district, Alf lives in one of the elaborate homes. Four bedrooms and the usual commodities, Alf has his very own room. Littered with various training equipment, with the smell of sex and sweat, his room his quite typical for a well to do teenage boy. Placed in the centre of his room is his double bed, covered in grey sheets. Alf usually spends his free time in his room, to get away from the chaos of his family. Loved by his father, Alf has the typical father-son relationship with Norrel. The perfect prodigy, Alf is somewhat of a double of his father, although more ruthless. On the other hand, his mother worries about him. Being quite a soft woman, she dislikes much violence. She knows the kids must be somewhat prepared for the games, but mustn’t use their skillset on anything else, Alf tends to break this rule often. Forever lecturing Alf on the feelings and pain of others, he Is kind of disgraced that she is actually his mother. Alfan began training as career when he was 14, before he pre-trained to get his fitness and strength up, by regularly running and working out. Taking a shine to hand in hand combat, he trains this skill set more frequently. However he has slight skill with a long sword and regularly fences with his dad.
