Anything You can do, I can do better {Imp, Olivia, & Rhyme//Blitz}

Death is unavoidable. That much has been proven true one hundred percent of the time. There are no immortals in this life and with each passing breath through the lungs of the brunette, Olivia made her way to the training center to scope out her possible competition. It wasn't that death made her nervous, but she merely didn't want it to occure when she had spent her whole life avoiding it; fighting it dailly. Each day pressed her to become everything she was today and because of it, she felt stronger because of it. So strong, that she felt the need to make sure all these other boys and girls in this center would see it and notice.

The thud of a knife is what catches her attention. It also draws Olivia's honey brown eyes to the blond who seems to be flirting with the instructor. Rolling her eyes, she began to step closer to the station that she was at and rest her hands behind her back and observe for a few moments. "Honey, no one in the arena is going to be fawning over you in the games unless it's over your dead body. You're time is wasted trying to sex yourself up in front of people that will never see you again."

The sly remark comes outward so suddenly because she was quiet all up until she had gotten practically next to her before voicing her opinion.

"Tell you what. If you want to make an impression, how about doing something worth watching instead?" Olivia's eyes glinted a malicious way to the older blond. "Care to duel? Your choice of weapon against my own? We'll get their attention off the other rif-raffs."

A voice breaks from behind me, just as I'm about to finish off my second dummy with another blade. How easy would it be to swiftly turn around and strike whomever that girly, know-it-all voice coming from instead. 'Course I do spin to her in one easy movement, but I resist letting the handle of this knife fly from my fingertips...despite the urges. Olivia, the only District Two female to volunteer, and the least of a threat out of all the Careers. I laugh. If I were her, I would of waited a few more years before growing such an ego. I've done my homework while the Training Center's closed. Clearly she hasn't though.

"Aw, that's cute. A Career doesn't know the benefits of gaining Sponsors." I play off that innocent, yet very undermining, tone; similar to how I'd respond to Rhythm when she became too cocky. It's quite annoying that she thinks she can approach with such an attention, but thankfully I have an even larger one to overmatch it. I want to turn my back to her once more, though decide to somehow bare the obsessive words she spills next. Apparently she wants to assist me in gaining the spotlight, which erupts a single chuckle from my lips.

So she doesn't know how to achieve sponsorship, or follow the rules. Some career she is. Still she holds that stance and disposition of one, and especially the confidence. Far from Victor material though. "I've managed plenty of eyes all of my own." I point up the skybox, and gives another wave to the group of gentlemen that have yet to budge away. Another sweet wave and smirk is given their way before turning my focus back to my immediate Competition. "Plus there's plenty of time to beat your pretty little ass in the Arena." My seductive expression turns evil once more. I look down at her with the couple of inches i've been given, thankful that I'm actually not the shortest.

"But hey, if you'd like to try to draw their attention away from myself, by all means. Be my guest." I taunt her with a very difficult task. "I'm sure they'd much rather watch a babyfaced midget more then I." If she wants a duel, she's got one. I'm not harming my winning looks before the Games though.

That's when another Tribute decides to join us, though it's no Career that walks up. Imp Stole, District Eight and the only last name I can remember. Her parents must of had a sick sense of humor, as it seems all Eights do. "Please, the more the merrier." I insist while my grin grows even wider. Imp holds the physically appealing card, while Olivia just might have some Career talent in her. Luckily for me, I hold it all. "I already drew them, I'd love to see you girls bore them away."

I watch as the District Two girl gets more agitated by the hot blonde between us. I watch them, careful to not let my peaceful gaze falter, I didn't want either of them to turn against me. I needed to be the middle man. I could gain their trust, possibly find a use for them, and then, only then could I shove my fist down their throats ripping their beating hearts from their chests. I stand still for a moment as the District Two girl makes some kind of joke about sewing. I don't laugh along, for it seemed to upset the walking mannequin. 

She then goes to ask me what weapon I would like to use. I wasn't sure, was my bare fists an option? I guess if I was planning on making any kind of impression, I would have to pick up one of these hunks of metal. I look at the table in front of me, gazing over each one. They all looked the same to me, an item used to murder, I don't know why I never had a liking to them before. They made taking a life so much easier. 

I reach out and grasp a long leather hilt. The end of the hilt was met with a large blade that was square like, and veered off into two different directions. An axe, "This should do the job." I say with another smile. I give a nod with my head, and decide that it was time to start this "competition". Though I found no point in it. I avert my attention to a dummy, and take a rather hearty swing. To my surprise my strength was stronger then intended. I made a clean slice of the dummies leg. I look over to the two girls and give an excited smile. Hoping my innocent features would get me some kind of opening.
