CAP Day 1- After The Fight [Kyanite&Alfan]

The moment the fight was over, I couldn't help but notice the two that I had to fight. Both of them caused each other enough damage to where it looked like they were pretty bad off and yet, myself, I could only feel certain areas of my body throbbing with a minimal amount of pain and so minimal that I knew it was only going to be bruising to mar my skin. Those two though, their legs seem to be the cause of all their trouble. Besides, how could I even help both of them? This was an unfair fight. A three versus three where one would have to have lost before the other could. I still got it though. My skills of fighting have only increased since the last pregames. My mind though was filled with images of my baby girl and hoping to return to her unscathed.

So far, it worked.

Just as the loudspeaker had came and gone, I bent over, resting my hands on my knees and looking from Calliope and Alfan with earnest. They had called Calliope the loser, declared her the one to be left behind so I went with the idea that the weakest needed to stay.

"You fought well." He states, all of a sudden and I give him a sudden nod. I stand, stretching out my back and turning on my heels without a word to the guy. Maybe those two can defend theirselves for the night? Though, I would feel bad if someone happened upon their sorry souls and I, for some reason, feel the need to the help the one who complimented me.

"Come on Alfan." I state and turn around to meet his gaze, without looking to the other one. "You still have a chance. Let's get out of here." I walk over and bend down, taking his arm around my neck and waiting for him to stand with me.

I stare at the beaten boy as he looks at me with a wild and curious nature about me helping him. Putting all feelings aside, he seemed to actually take my gesture and he meets me halfway to allow me to help him out. He was limping and I knew why. His leg. Actually, both of their legs were going to be their downfall. That's the thing I always learned growing up, if you hinder your enemy by hurting their most prized possession, the win would be yours. So far, it's still true because as of right now, he was a target. He was nothing more than just fresh meat for someone to tear apart and be left for dead, at least in the games that is.

Difference between the games and the pre-games? I am not out for blood. I am not looking to kill. I am still human and I'm still a good person, generally speaking. I also don't want my daughter, when she grows up, to see how much of a power hungry person I could be and heartless if I left him behind after he helped divert some attention away from myself in that three way battle. It could have been worse. Right now, it was my duty to be a good sport and to help my fellow contender whether or not he would be my next victim yet again.

"We both need first aid quickly, there must be a kit laying around somewhere." He states an obvious question and for one that I don't have an answer to. Instead, I just simply state something else that I used to in my previous days.

"I'm fine. I don't need first aid. Just bruises. Nothing can heal those, but your leg needs to be tended to." I tell him and we keep walking." That's when I get an idea. "You know what, you need to say sitting for a few. Rest. I'm going to go look for a kit. I'll be right back." I say and without question, get him to sit along the wall and take off down the path for a little ways, making sure that I keep track of where I have been in this maze. Probably about twenty minute pass before I make it back to him and with grim details.

"Nothing to the left and I took several turns. Maybe you'll have better luck? Which direction, Alfan?" I ask and offer my hand to him once again.
