I throw and axe, and another, and another. How was Lily so good at such a complicated technique? I remember her throwing the axe at the delivery word, and the head cracking open. I remember flinching as I thought to myself, how did my Lily do that? Stuck in district eight her whole life it shouldn't be possible for her to know how to throw so well. I pick up another axe and throw it, the metal embedding lightly in the leg, not where I was aiming, which was at the head. After a few seconds the axe fell lightly out of the leg, clattering to the floor with a small ringing sound.

I sigh and pick up another axe, throwing it again, spinning quickly before bouncing off the dummy with a clash. I wish I was as good as Lily, but I suppose I will never get as good at is as her. My eyes lower to the ground in sadness and disappointment.

I never imagined what it was like at the Capitol. It's amazing from what all I've seen. The food tastes great, but I absolutely hate the training part knowing that in just a few short days I'll be in the arena preparing to die. It's my hope that Kirito and Katelyn listen to me and bring Annora home. That's all I want. It's my dying wish, yet it doesn't matter right now because I see a small girl struggling.

She looks so familiar. Like she was one of the district eight tributes from the previous games. It makes me wonder what it's like. Perhaps I could offer her some advice. Something worthwhile. Maybe I can give her some help so she just doesn't die right away. Slowly I walk over towards her not caring what anyone else thinks. Hopefully she just doesn't turn and run away. "Hey there. Those axes might be a little heavy. Try throwing something a little lighter. Like the knives. Might be easier on your arm."

I throw another axe when I hear a deep voice speaking to me. "Hey there. Those axes might be a little heavy. Try throwing something a little lighter. Like the knives. Might be easier on your arm." The deep voice says to me. To see who is talking to me I turn, and then I look up, and up some more, then just a bit more up, my head craning upwards to see who was talking to me. It was the giant of a boy from district eleven. Ever since I saw him reaped I was nervous from how intimidating he looks. Plus, he had a sibling who got as far as Lily I think. Crusade I think it was?

Anyways, I turn to look up to him, and I speak to him. I feel as though I need to shout to get my voice all the way up to his ears, but when I try to, ny voice is still it's quiet, usual self. "I won't really have an option what I'm fighting with in the arena." I say quietly, and then in an even quieter whisper I say something else that had come to my mind. "I'm also lousy at knives." I remember atempting to throw them and haaving them bounce off the dummys in an attempt to skewer them.

I look down at the axe I am holding and look back up, my small face craning upwards to talk to him.
