Castle Ruined | District 5

Castle stands at about five feet and five inches tall, making her height rather average. Her hair is a chocolate brown, and her eyes are a very similar shade as well. Her build is somewhat fragile looking, and she often wears solid colored clothing. She will wear things such as tank tops, tee shirts and dresses, generally without a design of any sort, due to the inability she has to get more expensive clothing. Her favorite thing to wear, however, is a dress. She only gets to wear these on occasion, as she has very few of them and can only really wear the in nice weather.

One bad habit that Castle has that somewhat effects her appearance is the fact that she bites her nails. This causes her nails to generally be rather short, and not very even in length. She also has a tendency to itch her arms a lot, occasionally leaving them a bit red. A piece of jewelry that Castle also wears that she likes quite a lot are bracelets. She will wear these sometimes, but not as often as she would like to. The reason she doesn't, is because for some reason, they seem to break on her when she is doing a variety of different activities.

Castle, often known as Cas, is a very dependable person. People are able to count on her for a lot of things, and she likes to be helpful. As a relatively optimistic person, she is good at being consoling towards others. When something goes wrong, she is generally more concerned about the feelings of others than her own. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes, she can be a bit reckless, not thinking of herself, and only wanting to do whatever she has to in order to help those that she cares for. This sometimes can get in the way of her being successful in her own things that she does.

Also, Castle is a rather sensitive girl. Things are able to get to her quickly, and effect her for a while. For example, when her cousin, Pixie Ruined, died in the Hunger Games, Castle had nightmares for quite a while after, and they still haven't gone away. She ends up dreaming about the death of Pixie, and it seems to be the only type of dream that she has had since it happened. Though, she tries her best not to let this bother her too much, as she is rather optimistic. She tells herself that it doesn't mean anything else is going to go wrong, no matter how much it bothers her.

If she were faced with someone being rude to her or bullying her, she would generally keep in her emotions. She doesn't act out about those things too often, but they do still upset her due to her sensitivity. Rather good at masking her emotions, this is perhaps why she stays so positive. When she hides how she really feels from others, she starts to believe the mask herself. Castle is one who would never want to be in the games. She feels that she would be too scared to fight, and that she wouldn't make it through the games. This is the one thing that she isn't very optimistic about, though she doesn't believe that she would be picked in the reaping.

Castle never had a very difficult life in the past. Perhaps that was why she has always been able to see things positively. Born to her two parents and no siblings, Castle was one to grow closer with her cousins than anyone else her age. She always cared greatly for them, as well as her friends. Her ability to make friends and keep them was rather good, and she had quite a few when she was younger, however, she is a bit more solitary now.

One reason that she generally keeps to herself when she's not helping others is because of the loss of her cousin, Pixie Ruined. Pixie was killed in the Hunger Games, and it has become something that really effected Castle. This made Castle go from someone who was always hanging out with her family and friends to someone who preferred to be by herself. Though, she still stays optimistic. Castle was someone who had never truly experienced loss before losing Pixie.

Castle always was treated well by her parents. She got along with them well, and rarely got upset because of them. Her friendships when she was little were very similar to this. When she became of reaping age, it didn't really change too much for her, as she doubted that she would ever get picked. She still doubts at this point that she will get picked, which has helped her parents remain confident that their daughter will always be with them as well.
