The sea breeze is cold and damp against her body, the fog rolling in as it always did, winter or summer. Her motions are precise and rigid as she picks up the fish from the docks, striking the wriggling ones on their heads to knock them out before packing them in the crates headed to the Capitol. They were just motions, after all, nothing more and nothing less if she didn't think too hard.
She's hardly through with the first crate before another ship comes in with its cargo, and she catches sight of one of the crew members, much younger than the rest.
