I grin at my sister. Of course she chose burgers, I mean, great choice. Burgers are juicy and also meaty and full of goodness. Has to be the right kind of burger tho, can't be too fatty or greasy or chemical-tasting. And the buns too, can't have too much white flour or it's really stodgy and overwhelms the filling. Got to get that balance right. And pickles too, there's got to be pickles. Some mayo too. There's usually no cause for complaint. Well, uh, I mean if I did complain about it I'd get beat up by Greer, so... (they're great!! ^^)!

Papyrus' room is a lot tidier than mine. You think it would be the other way around, what with me being the more responsible sibling and all, but it ain't. My room's an absolute dump, which is mainly down to me being so lazy, but also I like to think of the piles of underwear as art, open to interpretation of course. I plaster posters of Hunger Games on my walls, depicting the heroic Julian Bryze or Opal Shore in her glory days. Ah, true Career icons. I could only aspire to be like them, except, I really can't be bothered. I'd rather boondoggle. Papyrus has no such posters. She doesn't have as much wall-space, for one. The shutters that Asgore nailed to her windows have been painted with jet black paint, as if to shut out even more light than they already have. We did that, so that we could paint stars on and make it look like the night sky (of all the things I miss, the sky is number one). The constellations are wild tonight (I changed them this morning whilst she was at breakfast) and Papyrus seems in a really chill mood.

"Burgers, of course," She yaps at me like it's a stupid question and I shouldn't even need to ask, "Did you bring ketchup?"
Now, that's a stupid question. 'Course I brought ketchup, it's the red juice that ties us all together, common to all humans and monsters. What? Blood? Nah, ketchup. I'm talking about ketchup ok?

A bottle of tomato ketchup slips down my jacket sleeve and into my hand, I throw it onto the bed next to her, followed by the greasy brown paper bag containing the food. Her room usually smells pretty industrial. Like sawdust and varnish, but now the smell of burgers makes my stomach grumble like an angry teenager (scary). I'm actually surprised with myself that I haven't eaten it already, but then I need to look after my own, first

I slump onto the floor, my eyes assess her room. Her puzzle book is the only book on her shelf that isn't covered in dust.
"No luck today, champ?" My arms reach behind my head and cushion my neck as I lean back and close my eyes, "Y'know, Junior Jumble's the easiest. Crosswords are way harder, bro."
I say bro, but she's my sis, but whatever bro you feel?

I spoke to Undyne the Undynamic this morning. She's agreed to help train Papyrus, which is great news. Bless her, she's not the sharpest when it comes to fighting, even if she might think otherwise. It's nice of Undyne to give her a chance and teach her some basic skills. I mean, I'd do it but I cba. I don't train much, or fight much, but I know that if I need to fight I can sure as heck handle myself (excuse my french). Like, so even though I know I can fight, doesn't mean that even if I could be bothered to train my sister that I'd be any good at teaching her? I'm not the best at putting things in an understandable format.

I reach over to the bag and pull out two burgers, each wrapped in greasepaper. I throw one onto my sister's lap. I turn mine over and rip it open, tossing away the paper and holding the delicious meat entity in both hands. I lick my lips and take a bite. NOOO I FORGOT TO ADD KETCHUP FIRST! I quickly grab the bottle before Papyrus, and squirt a load into my open mouth.

A beautiful concoction of greasy meat, sweet and salty ketchup, ripe pickles and mayo, slight hint of firey onions too. The bread is soft and delicious. On my word, this is one of the best things I've eaten in a while. My eyes almost water.

"Wow, 's'good!" I say with my mouthful. I swallow quickly, taking another bite, my face grinning from ear to ear.
