The first tribute to flee the bloodbath will stumble upon a golden triangular gem with a sapphire glow. Upon touching this gem, it will morph into a temporary shield capable of sustaining 5 damage (shield +5).

The tribute must specify when they are using this shield in an intro post, and it cannot be used in the finale.
