A dream that a little boy had was shattered across the room. A dream that shattered at the age of nineteen. Life was meaningless to him. Good memories lost with the time that continues to tick on the clock. Tick Tick. Tick Tick. The years had passed by so quickly for the boy. Training to be the best that there was in the district, only to not put the skills to use. A waste of a boy's time. A dream broken, breaks a boy and turns him into a man with skills. A man who has skills to kill is useless in a normal life. But, the life he had wasn't normal.

Working as a trainer in District two wasn't normal. A man who teaches kids how to kill using weapons of great strength. Spears, Axes, flails, and blunts line his are for career training. The strongest of the kids would never be strong enough to beat him in a training session, but still, the man had to teach kids whose dreams would break, how to kill with such weapons. The kids who would possible be a tribute for the greatest invention of the ages, The Hunger Games. A dream that Cliff had wanted to take and achieve the dream of being a victor, but like all dreams it broke.

Wishes don't become true. Life moves on even if dreams and wishes are fake. Reality holds Cliff on his feet, steady and ready to continue on the life that Cliff was making. A lonely male in reality, facing the fact that he needed to make a life that was more than just the career center. A reality that Cliff actually wants to be in and hold onto until the end days.
