When the words weigh heavy on the heart
I am lost and led only by the stars

There was one thing that the Capitol lacked during the break of day which bought Hypatia to a startling wake; bird song. The girl had grown so used to when the sun crested the distant mountains, flooding the world with powdered gold, stirring the blue birds and robins and blue jays that nested in the trees and roof tops of the houses of District Three who, upon waking, would tell stories and tales in their little songs they sang. It was a beautiful experience, to hear the music of the world as it exhaled after a long nights rests; but here the world was dead. Silence filled the air when the sunrise broke the violet sky into scattering colours of orange, red and pink; like a pestilence, it spread, infecting the world and like a fever, it bought her from her dreams in a cold sweat.

The young woman let out a soft sigh, closing her eyes in an attempt to drift off into an infinite sleep, one that didn’t begin or end, but it was no use. The silence was overbearing and it dragged her from the realms of almost sleep. Reluctantly deciding there was no use being kept in bed, waiting and yearning for the sleep that seemed just as impossible as travelled at the speed of light, she slipped from under the duvet (struggling for a moment as the almost drowned in the sheer amount of fluffy and fabric) before wandering into the living area; everything- at first- seemed as it should be, until something (a body shaped something) caught her eye as she passed by the lobby to the elevator.
