Silence. It had been his friend for years now. Silence was the only thing that comforted him in times of chaos. As a little boy, the screaming of death and starvation echoed through his tiny ears every day that he lived. Silence was comforting when silence was rarely alive in his home. The creature was being stomped out by his brothers and every time he watched them do it, it got easier and easier to fill the silence with noise. Now silence was his friend once again. Quiet and peace within a space of chaos and people who would possibly murder him was the only way that was keeping his blood pressure and anger away for the days. Silence would soon be the only thing that he would hear within the arena. Most places too vast and wide for noises of everyone to be contained and heard by everyone else.

Drake Harvest was a boy who knew of the silent way. Mitchell could see it in the way that he works. Hands fiddling with a rope, turning the inanimate object into something more than a piece of rope. A bird forms and all Mitchell can do is stare at it in silence and curiosity. As he approaches the boy from Eleven, all he can do is be mesmerized by the little bird in his hand. Mitchell's curious voice finds it's escape from his body, "H-How did you do that with only a simple rope?" The curiosity was eating away at him, just like a bird eating the seeds upon the ground. Mitchell Laws was silent as he waited for Drake. Silence was his friend. Drake Harvest was a boy with interestingly different talents.
