One of her favorite parts of being a Gamemaker - officially - was doing the press. It seemed to her that she'd been paired in both the Seventy First and the current Games with women who were, for whatever reason, not as eager to speak the public. It made sense; she had been in marketing prior to being promoted. What's more, Capricious would have been jealous at best - vindictive, more likely - if another Gamemaker had similar PR skills.

She'd arrived to the shoot fashionably late. She answered a flurry of texts and emails as a team of stylists set to work on her already perfectly groomed hair and perfectly made up face. They undid all the hard work she'd put in at pre-dawn and made her anew. She barely paid them any attention, focusing instead on completing another interview over email and double checking the final list of muttations. The last few were being shipped to the arena that morning. She curled her lip back as she scrolled past a Panem Pelican; one had inadvertently flown into her office in the spring, and the smell had been atrocious.

Although, not nearly as bad as vomited french fries.

When she was re-groomed to perfection, Capricious slipped into the second outfit they presented her (never settle for the first offer) and opened her palm to Jonathen Vance. "That's me," she purred, taking his hand warmly. Already she felt at ease; he was clearly up on the latest style trends and he looked equally relaxed. This would be a meeting of companions - not peers exactly, but at least they both embraced the Capitolite culture. She was so very tired of talking to tributes and talking at avoxes who wore judgment like a suit of armor.

"Pleasure to meet you too, Mr. Vance, and likewise."

She waved a freshly polished finger at two overstuffed chairs, which would shortly be used for the photo shoot. Under the glare of ring lights, Capricious settled herself. She let one knee hover slightly over the other, not quite crossing them, leaving the barest, flirtatious gap. Capricious flipped her dark hair over one shoulder and smiled winningly at him. "So, we're here to talk about me, right? Fire away."
