Bright, blue eyes stare out from beneath hooded eyelids at the world. You’re an unusal pretty, according to your sisters. Ghostly skinned, you have always disliked your slightly wide set eyes and upturned nose which is averagely size; you don’t hate your plump, peachy lips but you don’t like them either. You always say your hair is your favourite feature. Shyly, you’ll pull the straw blonde hair, which fine to the touch and falls down to your waist, forward in such a way it hides your face. Skinny, you neither dwarf or shrink under your sisters standing at a perfectly average 5’ 7”.
You’re a shy creature and prefer your own company to others. You seem like you would not be suited for a life of crime: kind, sweet hearted, naïve on occasion but that you use as an asset. People underestimate you but you’re stealthy, quiet enough to not be noticed. A wallflower, they call you. You barely talk and when you do, it is usually in secrets and sometimes you’re spiteful, using secrets to play with others feelings, cause fights or get people who have hurt you or your family. The worst thing is, you get a kick out of it.
Your mother told you that your Daddy was a King but you found that hard to believe. She was never home, always out on sleeping with strange men, riding highs from drugs, and when she was, you still felt alone. You learnt quickly not to speak out of turn with your mother- sober or not- otherwise you would be beaten. Things got better when the other girls found you- your half-sisters- bloodied to a pulp after you sold the wrong secrets to the wrong people on the playground. Now you work for them- but at what price?
