You gained a heart but lost yourself these past two weeks.
You swear, her hands belong in yours. Similar to how the stars belong etched in the sky and the Earth belongs within the sun's orbit -- you could lose yourself in the solar flare of her hair and you would feel just at home. You want to be lost, you want to be lost if it means keeping your heart where it belongs because it should be yours to give.
And here she is, her head against your chest and her hands in yours and you don't dare to speak -- silence is as fragile as stained glass.
