Rhapsody Phenix-Morales
Sounds swarm my senses as bodies build inside the locker rooms. Talk of training and of glorified crushes constantly crowd my space as my friends' constant conversations only consist of the two subjects. Playing along as always I offer a laugh and joke every now and then as I slip out of my training gear and into my everyday attire. A slight hint of sadness sits on my heart as I place Rhyme's watch onto my arm where it always stays aside from when I'm training. Its almost unimaginable for me to think she's been gone seven years.
Outside the Training Center my friends turn towards the District Square for lunch while I head towards home. While I walk I take notice of a boy whose been training with me for years but I've never actually spoken to. My old self tells me to turn tail and leave him be but Rhyme's voice refuses to let me. She would have reached out to him, that's just the type of social butterfly she was. I quicken my pace until I'm walking by his side.
"Hey, Alaric right? I'm Rhapsody, we've always trained together so I figured its about time I actually introduce myself."
