The ocean is an uncontrollable world. Tides churn the heart of its waters and canyons carve its darkest depths. On its surface, water rolls in a stunning spectacle. Waves, the momentum of the sea shown above its surface. Barrels with water rolling in circles all around you, the apex of achievement in conquering the ocean's rides. There is little safety in venturing out into the water to face its rolling mountains. But for those who dive into the watery climb, an adventure of exhilaration awaits after a successful catch and ride. One family has forever been known as one formed on the back boards atop the highest rolling mountains.
The Grey family embraced the waves of the ocean as a treasure. In this storm of swirling water and wicked wipe outs, they forged phenomenal surfers and exceptional careers. With their sacred treasure they created an empire on the back of District Four's most prized possession. Through the generations they have perfected their techniques of creation. Surfboards beautifully crafted by the hands of only those born with the blood of a Grey. Wet suits with the fine features included only by those who have been raised to know the secrets of their family. Waxes from recipes invented and improved upon to near perfection by their brains and determination. A kingdom of wealth and riches earned by the work of one family.
Away from the bustling business of home, the children are sent to the finest academies for absolute excellence. Private schooling, elite career centers funded by the generous donations of their family, hours of surfing on the beaches their family made famous for the waves. Expectations are astronomical, but like the waves from the depths of the ocean the youth of this family always find a way to rise.
This plot is one that makes me smile because it is something I am very passionate about. Surfing is an incredible sport I love to do and I am in love with the idea of having some amazing surfing careers in Panem. I really hope some of you share this excitement too!

He is far from your average teenage guy. From the beginning Turner has never given a damn about anyone. Emotions are far from his strong point and people are left hurt in his wake. As a child he would beat up his siblings whenever they annoyed him, when his parents would insist on an apology he would never give one. He's come far from that little boy, but now a days he is incapable of maintaining a relationship longer than a one night stand. At everything aside from social he excels. School, surfing, career training, he is beyond determined to be the best. Cascade is a quiet individual. Sometimes she can go for hours not saying a word. She sits back and listens to people around her and their conversations. She's always observing. Always listening. Always taking in her surroundings. But don't let her quietness fool you. She has a sharp temper and lashes out quite often, usually over stupid things and she often regrets what she's said. Cascade cares for people, and when she sees she upset someone it really bothers her. Other than that, she's a genuine person and loyal to those who are loyal to her. Also, she often enjoys fishing when she's not surfing or training for the hunger games. She walks along the beach collecting sea shells and makes necklaces out of them in order to sell for some extra money.
