The fifth tribute in the forest will discover the true meaning of petrification. A brush against once of the blue-green stones will render the tribute temporarily useless. If they are in a mandate, their current attack when this is triggered will not count. If they are not, they are frozen in place for a few minutes, unable to interact with anything or anyone else.
