Diana's form was a piece of home to him over the night. Every few hours or so, he'd wake up in fear that the two other guys they were with would be gone. He was afraid that they would seek to sever their heads from their bodies or drive a blade through their skulls. With every waking though, he was relieved immediately to find their sleeping souls still writhing from the day before. After his heart had settled he slept fitfully in the valley of yellow no longer a color but of a shade of darkness until the light had started to show through and their travels had became something of the future. Yellows dipped away after a while. His gaze kept straight on to Diana's back, watching and making sure that she was always to be protected like the little sisters he'd left at home. They were watching, he knew and a baby brother that knew of nothing going on. His absence made no difference to the two year old, but he longed to hear from his little sister's once more. The empty whisky bottle deep in his sack held two wilting sunflowers. One had been for Zeezee because she loved anything bright and cheerful. The other one was going to be given back to Jacobie so that she may know the sun will always shine wherever she was. He had plans to give them back the moment he reached home, but first he knew that he'd have to make it there. As the path turned so did his facial expressions when noises deafened his heart and his breaths sped up. This place was going to be one hell of a trip and only just now was the fun starting to begin. The clopping sound of hooves only alerted him to the forceful nature of the biggest creature to show itself, but not before the body of a creature, mighty and small, wrapped around his body in the blink of an eye. "DIANA..." His voice was naturally trying to alert her to the danger so that she could move. His intentions to keep her away but the creatures body slithered over his legs, wrapping around his stomach. "Fuck! Get the Fuck.. off!" Arms thrashed around wildly, fingernails clawing into the creature, but as the snake slithered higher and higher, the blood of his ally painted the ground. Red. Blue. Black. The colors faded in his mind and in a matter of seconds, he lost his breath with one final word. "Zee..." Deformity took over his body amidst the fight that had barely began. A warrior of his home brought down in the blink of an eye. The fight taken straight out of him. His hands fell to his side as the snake claimed his soon to be meal. In the tattered mail sack precariously discarded just a foot away, the wilted flowers in the whisky bottle continue to die just as the tribute who had picked them. ---------------------- Gamemakers: sbeeg, frankel and d7f amber bosch 🌿 tris Thank you so very much for these games. Lastly, to the site, I've had such a wonderful time preparing for these games even though I've been working tirelessly with two jobs and everything. I appreciate all the friendships I've gotten here. I've gained so much from this place and honestly, this place has been more home to me then anything when I was away from family. You guys helped to fill a void I needed and didn't know I had. I learned more about writing and got to read a ton of great things. I aspire to be like each and everyone one of you, so it is with me saying this, that this was my last games on the site.
