With four months behind him, Indigo had decided it was high time he reached out to some of the interns he hadn't hung out with. One of those was Violet, the savant with the green thumb. She'd voted for herself during the challenge, which told him that she suffered from some measure of low self-esteem. That wasn't good. She'd be crushed by some of the stronger personalities in the house if she wasn't careful. Someone had pointed him in the direction of the sun room, and he knew he should have expected that. She took to plants the way plants took to water.
She was among those that were hard for him to read, as she was rather unpredictable. He hadn't talked with her too often as they didn't have much in common, but now at least he had a reason. He sighed and stared down at the too small apron he was wearing. "Er, Violet?" he called out, strolling up to where she was in the sun room. "I think this is yours?" he held her cat in his arms, the little tag that said Baxter jingling softly as the cat turned his head. "He was sort of uh, in the bowl of applesauce I was making."
Baxter meowed innocently.
