I'm not sure how to feel. Something is wrong, and it's hard to figure out the cause. It's a weird feeling, but I feel super close to my family right now. It's almost like they're calling to me. I'm trying to figure out what exactly is going on. My mind is frantic as the memories creep from the day before. It had to have been that spider. I know a lot of spiders are poisonous, and why would these be any different? I don't think they'd change them just because they're a mutt used to kill.
That's when it dawns on me, and I'm not ready to die. I want to make it home. My family is depending on me. They need me. I need me. I'm looking around unsure of where Asari ran off to, but I know during the night we'll find each other once more. It's happened before. I just want to make it home, but part of me wants to see my dead family all again. I miss them so much more than words can say, but I promised I'd do my best, and that's what I must do. I'll keep going strong and fight against it all and see what happens. I can't be afraid in this moment, but I'm not sure if I'm truly strong.
