It sure does take a whole lot of wheelin' and dealin' for a boy to get from Dimebag Joe to Diamond Joe but Three-J sure did it. Helps that his stock is good. See, Tector isn't good for much besides smashing his head into stuff, picking fights he can't win, and growing the illest loud this side of the district. Seriously. Shit is dank. Bad salesman, though.
And that's where Joe comes in, all slick-like and smooth talking. He's got a real talent for wheelin' and dealin', for marketing, for making people want whatever it is he's holding behind his back. Maw Johnwayne (That's his great-granny, not his granny, and not his mama) would always say he could sell a victor a second crown, whatever that's supposed to mean. See, it ain't too common for someone named Johnwayne to be better at making friends out of enemies and not the other way 'round. Him, and maybe Souxsie MaeJean, and that's about it, ain't it?
He's not a scam artist or a conman, he's just always hustling, yknow? Only trouble is, if he runs his mouth too long, people start getting wise to his wiles. Charm and charisma can only take you so far when boys with bats think there was trim mixed in with the shake they paid for — bunch of cheapskates, woulda served them right if it were — and for everything else there's a stork-legged stride to take him away from trouble.
