Love in Panem is at all all time low, so we've called our professional love doctor for advice-- and she is pissed!
For the first time in Panem, the Capitol is inviting 16 young love birds from the districts to stay at our finest sweetheart get away, Risky's Pop Paradice Retreat, to find real love going into adulthood. With the assistance of Dr. Petelia Quartz and her AI house agent, Hestia, the Romance Dark Days will be no more! Young Lovers of 16-18 years old will stay for up to ten weeks in the resort, as they complete workshops, tasks & even a few dates to prepare them to ring those wedding bells.
Any couple strong enough to ring the wedding bells will get the chance at Happily Ever After, $10,000 to start their future together, and a 5-year travel warrant to follow wherever love leads them. Now ain't that sweet?!

Hey, hey everyone! Young Love in Panem: Season 1 is going to be the first of hopefully many reality TV show plots in my ZeusTV series. Young Love (YL) is going to be entering its casting phase now, which I'll explain in the next paragraph. Currently, I'm looking to get this season of the plot kicked off the first week of September, and until then I'll be getting all my final touches done + getting the cast together!
Casting is going to be done through a google form linked at the bottom of the post, you can enter as audition tapes as you have characters who would apply! Per season, I'll be limiting "double-up" castings depending on how many applicants there are -- for now, I'm saying everyone has a chance at 2 characters on a single season. For clarity on casting decisions, much like modern reality TV I'll be giving priority to minority casting, specifically careers of color having the best chance at being casted, with lower district characters have a lower (but still possible) chance.
Unfortunately, I may not be able to cast everyone. If Season 1 is successful, anyone who applied but wasn't casted will have priority for Season 2.
Unlike some other ZeusTV shows, this plot will be non-death. I repeat, no one will die trying to find love (unless you want, I guess?!). Gameplay: there are two main aspects to staying in this game and that's the Challenges & the Coupling. Failing either will result in you packing your bags and leaving the Paradise Resort immediately!
Lastly, by applying to Young Love in Panem, you are agreeing to any IC twists I'm looking to throw your way. The premise of this plot is to bring together teenage singles and create some unlikely chemistry without district borders being in the way. However, this is also a shitty MTV show, and there will be cheating, lying & broken hearts, which is half the fun!( o t h e r )
Dr. Petelia Quartz : the host of Young Love in Panem: Season 1, Petelia is a world-reknown professional "pink-ifyer" with a knack for muttations. Up until her recent secret marriage, Petelia had never known love. Now with her Ph.D in Loveology, she's looking to tackle the Romance Pandemic of Panem for the next generation.
Haven : Dr. Quartz's right hand-roid, Haven is a home-organizing artificial intelligence (patent by Nervalink) equipped to handle the chaos of 16 young love birds. Haven will be the HUB for all house needs, and how the housemates will receive information during their love-quarantine.
The Lovebirds : (1) referring to the young loves, the lovebirds are housemates all looking to find a forever partner during their stay in Paradice. (2) The Lovebirds also refers to specially bred Delivery Words that bring letters, gifts & other things to the housemates from outside of the resort.
Jemima Quartz : Dr. Quartz's niece & a social media mogul, Jem's appearances in Paradice will be chaotic & sporadic, but always a good time.
Challenges & Couplings : weekly tasks the lovebirds will have to survive to stay in Paradice. Challenges are used to determine the tops and bottoms in the resort, along with eliminating the lowest scoring lovebird. The lovebird duo's will be re-established during the next Coupling, where the odd bird out will be given the boot.( t l ; d r )
- All information provided in this post will remain; however, this is an incomplete plot description & will be updated until casting is finished. This is mainly because I'm still planning out how YL: Season 1 will play out, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
