"Flynn! Flynn! Flynn!" They chant running down the street, heels clacking on the district six pavement. Ash waves the youngest victor down, shock in the 15 year old's eyes, before locking eyes into the camera.
"You're on The Buzz: On the Streets! -- now on Channel 5, wink," fuck editing in the audio twinkle. "I'm Ash Fixated, nice to meet you big fan, and I have some questions for you today." They speak with a vocal fry, whipping comically large q-cards out from their clutch. Glitter drops from the first envelope as Ash opens it, blowing it into the street gutter in order to read the question.
"Ugh, I got glitter in my wig," which is never coming out. Groan, "anyways, our first -- oooh, our first card wants. to. know." staring dramatically into the camera before looking back at Flynn. "Obviously this was your first year as a mentor, what did you think of the whole experience? Top eight first try, not too bad, right?"
Nodding along, "Robin even got that one award on the aftershow and everything, I'd say you did, y'know, good."
They shove the microphone to Flynn's mouth, waiting to pick his first words up on camera.
