"Knock, knock- HELLLOOOO~!"
Ash busts into the District 9 mayor's hall, Capitol warrant for their very own exclusive interview. They asked Tazzel, who asked someone higher up, who must have asked whoever makes the checks bounce because it cleared quick. On a dime almost; perfect, since Duke Baptiste is nowhere to be seen. Those Baptiste kids know how to avoid a camera, that's for sure.
An unexpected mayor though? No way!
Both the mouthpiece & the cameraman enter the office, Shiv Irvine at her desk hard at work for the camera's. They motion at the camera -- "ugh, I'm so here for this district 9 glow-up."
"Heeey Miss Irvine, I'm Ash Fixated nice to meet you, mhm, you're on The Buzz: On The Street!™" They say, pulling up a seat in front of the mayor of nine's desk. "Should we move the desk? Or- no? Okay, yeah," Ash shrugs it off before stuffing the fringe of their mint outfit in between the armchairs.
They take a second, making uncomfortable eye contact with Talon, and then the camera, mimicking a deer in headlights. "Do I still look cinched? Cool," they nod to the mayor before getting to the point. "I ask questions, you give tea. And I think you know where I'm going to start," said with a twinkle in their eye.
"You're the mayor of the district, taking over from your sister, Talon, right. It's mid-term, how do you think you've done, good? I'd say so, yeah," reassuring Shiv with the way Ash whips their wig behind their shoulder. "But you manage to bring back Nine's first victor in over two decades, I mean, come on! That's got to be a serious confidence boost to your career."
"So let's start there! How optimistic are you about the election coming up, is the silver office staying in the family?"
